Galveston Beach Condos

The condo was gulf view and down far enough from the busy part of Seawall Blvd so still felt quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. We couldn't access the balcony r/t safety issues. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a great place to land and relax after our daily activities. It would be nice if there were towels available for pool and/or beach use as well as for the shower.

We enjoyed that we didn't hear running, talking or any other noises above us, beside us or outside our door. You could actually sleep. The room had a friendly and welcoming feel to it. The only three things I saw that need attention are the rusting of the stair railings, the order in the elevators (especially by the big pool) and maybe keep a box fan for the people to use sleeping in the bunk beds. Kids said it got hot at night sleeping in them even with the AC on.

We didn't want to leave and considered actually looking into long term rental. The staff was friendly. There are different codes for everything like pool, fitness room, gates, etc. which are a pain to remember and had to keep a piece of paper with them all written down. The pools were nice but freezing cold due to weather and they needed piped repaired that busted in the freeze. It was a great stay overall.

The condo inside was very nice and updated. It would have been great to be able to access the balcony, but we did know going into it that it was closed off. The resort as a whole was older than what the pictures showed, but the pools and grounds were maintained daily and clean. The weather was great for the week that we were there, so we got a lot of pool time. The heated pool was small but we used that quite a bit. The big pool shown in the pictures was beautiful, but not heated and while we were there, was REALLY cold even for us coming from WI :). Our condo was on the 3rd floor - there was an elevator to use, but we used the steps most of the time because the elevator was kind of old and slow. But it did work and we used when we loaded and unloaded. Overall very nice.

We stayed in Galveston for spring break with four kids. This condo was perfect. We had room for all seven of us. The kids LOVED the pool. The view of the ocean was gorgeous. The room was super clean and we enjoyed just hanging out there together. Parking was free and it was also free by the beach too! We always found parking too. I would absolutely stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed the space and the convenience of having a full kitchen to use. The balcony was great with the ocen view right over the pool.

The condo itself is in good shape, pretty clean and had basics needed for cooking. Can sleep up to 6 (2 double beds -one is a sleeper sofa and a bunk bed). We had a view of the beach from our balcony. It is shower only, no bath. It meets basic needs and is a good condo for a group on a budget. The property itself is a bit awkward due to a great deal of parking being under the condos. During peak season be prepared to have to park in tight spots between columns. We drive a SUV and opted to walk a little further and park in the back rather than under the condos. There are two pools, one is "heated", it is still pretty cold. The heated pool is in one side of the property, the child-friendly pool is in the center and the hot tubs (only one was operating) is on the other side of the property. This means if you want to go to the spa after swimming you have to walk through the parking garages to the other side of the property. Fine for some groups but may be problematic for a family with various ages trying to stay in close proximity to each other. The gate to the pool closest to the emergency phone by the pool was locked this would make response time for calling on help increase. This is also the only emergency phone on the property for purpose of calling for help in event of a water emergency. The property has numerous codes that you will need to carry around with you or take a picture and keep in your phone bc they are dissimilar and hard to remember. Code for gym, code to enter, code for your door access/lock, code for pools, different code for spa. In addition to having these codes the property mgmt requires guests to wear a bracelet during their stay to show they are guests and can use the hot tubs and pools. This is an inconvenience and unpractical as one bracelet is provided for your entire stay, it has to stay on you, if you lose it it costs I think $25 to replace it. Ridiculous. Kids with sensory issues will not want to wear a bracelet at all let alone for a few days stay. Having to put this on and cut it off then take the used bracelet to the mgmt office for a replacement (if you throw your used bracelet away you will have to pay for another one) is inconvenient. A more practical solution to policing who is using the property pools is needed. The property is gated, with codes and security on site. It is hard to imagine many use the pool who shouldn't. We had a nice stay and recommend for off peak times.

This place was wonderful! Randy was Very Accommodating and responded quickly if we needed anything! The Condos were very nice! two pools, a hot tub, a workout room, and more. the People at the condo are nice as well! Highly recommend renting Randys place for your vacation! It is Right by the beach and stores! Loved this place! thank you randy!
