Village Hotel Hull

I had recently started a networking meet at the village hotel and the service we have received is outstanding. Lindsay hosts us when we have our breakfast and ensures that everybody has everything they need. Things like that go a long way towards the overall experience, thanks so much Lindsay!

Rooms are spacious and clean with a good rain shower in bathroom. Bed is comfortable and big.

Cheap bumpy pillows on the bed let it down. Maybe do what budget hotels do and offer one soft and one harder pillow. Still no air con in the rooms lets this hotel down in my opinion, and the reason we normally choose premier inn over the Village. The bar and grill was disappointing as it was obviously under staffed. Tables were not cleaned and cleared when customers left. Plates and leftover food was left on windowsills etc. We waited 45 mins for our food to arrive, food was very average and I think all the food is overpriced for the quality.

We had an amazing two night stay at village hull recently. The hotel was easy to find, straight off the motorway with supermarkets close by. There was ample car parking. We were greeted by Andy on reception who was really helpful and friendly. Our room was on the fourth floor at the front of the hotel and we were blown away by the view of the Humber bridge from our window. Then we were even more delighted to find a welcome note in our room with a round of complimentary drinks from the bar - wow, what an amazing welcome! That evening we used the pool and gym facilities which were great. Our room was warm , comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast on both mornings was fantastic, we were looked after by Lindsey and Jo who went out of their way to chat and make recommendations. The food was lovely and the poached eggs perfect - shout out to the new chef (Tatiana I think?) who was doing a great job. There is a park and ride within walking distance of the hotel which we used to travel into the city centre and proved to be efficient. There is also a lovely area under the Humber bridge about an 8 minute drive away which is scenic and nice for walking. We were pleasantly surprised by everything Hull had to offer and will definitely return to the Village Hotel. Well done to everyone who works there!

Had a great breakfast with our team here this week. Food was lovely, service was GREAT, especially Lindsay, she’s a total credit to the company and couldn’t have been more welcoming. We’re going to come back next week to try out the lunch menu as that looked brill too!

Had a lovely trip at village hall absolutely amazing service. I 100% recommend it and a special thank you to Lindsay and Jo. If you want a real start to the morning speak to these two they will make your day!! Lovely ladies and really friendly

The front of desk staff were brilliant. The property was spotless. And I couldn’t ask for anymore than that the room was amazing and had a good view of the Humber bridge
