"Off the highway but upgraded and clean"

The hotel is off the main highway and older however the hotel was clean , nice and quiet. The breakfast was more than adequate. There was several offerings. Our room was clean, large,and quiet. The bed and pillows were good. I left a personal item at the hotel and the found it and sending it back to me. Very nice people.

You know the saying, you get what you pay for.....I should have received a lot more. I've stayed at much cheaper hotels that were so much better. However, if you want to stay at a hotel where you can have canned gravy and cereal with chunky/frozen milk at breakfast, with 30 year old decor, and rooms that smell like smoke that may or may not have hot water then by all means...oh and the bums under the bridge in the parking lot...stay at the Howard Johnson in Gillette.

Horrific! Our group had two rooms. Both were terrible. We would’ve left but there was limited availability due to the high school rodeo finals. This is why they also charged double of what they normally charge. We chose the hotel because it had a decent rating and was close to the rodeo. To begin with, the bathroom fans looked like they’re about to fall. We had to go buy cleaners when we arrived. There was rust in and around the shower. There were stains on the carpet, furniture, and even the bedding. Towels had holes. A tiny shampoo and one small bar of soap is all we were given. Each room had the same large type of bug in our bathrooms. In our room we had to ask for a coffeemaker. Once I found a way to cut the zip tie on the cord, I discovered it didn’t reach any outlets. Although the owner said he’d give a small discount for each day we were told later they couldn’t do it since we had prepaid through Expedia. The whole stay was so disappointing.
