Staff don’t want to you help you, cleaning service will open the doors without knocking they walked in while my wife was getting out of the shower! It even happened to another guest we talked to! I will never stay here again and when I brought these concerns up to the manager she called me a liar and refused to speak to me! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! Don’t stay here!

Cool carpet, close to loud overpass. Tub was leaking/had some kind of mold/mildew stains - needs replaced. Saw waffle makers in the breakfast bar picture, but only had microwave pancakes.

Both Orbitz and the Howard Johnson website said they offered a shuttle service to the airport. When I was checking in I was informed that this was not the case. I needed a 4:30am transportation. I could not reach any cab services to schedule a pick up and Uber would have been $45. I had to cancel my reservation and book elsewhere. The young man, Jared, working the front desk was very helpful, however. He did amazing and called other hotels to try to find one that offered a shuttle.

The staff for the most part were not friendly at all, in fact several were very rude. Our room had holes in the walls, it smelled bad the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down, the sheets were stained, the carpets were gross. We had to leave every morning before breakfast and asked if we could just get an apple or something, and were told no breakfast is at a certain time and not before. We stayed for a whole week and should have spent the bit extra to get a much nicer place. I will NEVER stay here again and won't recommend it to Anyone. I have stayed at Howard Johnsons before and was excited to see one here. That excitement was quickly dashed. This one is a disgrace to the name, OR the chain has gone down hill!

If you’re looking for A decent price and clean place. This is it but they charged me more money than I agreed to the hotel said it was because I checked in to early. But hotels.com said specifically they called and it was ok to check in at that time. And noone tried helping me or gave me my money back… bullcrap

"Horrible experience"

The management was rude and harassed my husband and Co workers, bad customer service. I can't say anything good about this experience I litterly switch my other reservation and took a loss on a couple days worth of stay because that's how bad it was.
