Royal Thurso Hotel

De verwarming in de kamer stond aan, te hoog en was niet zelf te reguleren. Erg ongezond. Bij ontbijt een jonge, nogal norse jonge vrouw (stagiaire)? Buiten schuld hotel om: jongeren die met auto's door de stad raceden tot diep in de nacht.

Secure parking for my motorbike. The staff at the front desk were very approachable and hospitable

The hotel is very tired. The breakfast was a disaster. When the cooked breakfast arrived it was of a very poor standard. The tea, coffee and toast didn't arrive until we'll after the cooked breakfast was completed. Very slow service. All of the cutlery had a very off putting smell to them. All the coffee/ tea cups on the table were stained. Would never eat there again.

Great chalm and character. Breakfast included.

Nothing particularly. It is dated, which in some ways adds to it's appeal.

Breakfast was cold including the tea asked for toast this did not arrive, staff appeared to be put out at serving me.we booked evening meal of fish and chips and received half portions of fish, another customer who received the same meal left the hotel in search of another establishment for a replacement meal

Everything about the hotel, my wife and I are in our mid seventys were allocated a room at furtherest point from the main reception as there was no lift available we had to take to the stairs passing through about 8 to 9 doorways with our luggage, l shudder to think if an emergency occurred how we would have copped

Its location was good and staff friendly.

Very old, tired, building. Exterior very poorly presented. Cigarette butts outside, weeds, old furniture in car park. Breakfast awful, dinner awful.

An awful hotel all round! Grimy, unclean, terrible odour from the carpets throughout! Shocking service of food and drink with basic essentials not been available E.g, butter, orange juice, wine to name a few. Rooms cleaned only on request.
