Royal Thurso Hotel

La posizione.

La colazione scarna. La pulizia generale pessima. Il bagno completamente da rimodernare, come tutta la struttura del resto.

Interior looked smart & tidy, we were made welcome by front of house staff.

Had a problem with a bath hot water tap not turning off. Went to desk. Reception said “Oh dear”. She then disappeared. We waited, she didn’t return. Found her serving customers in the bar. After she’d done serving she came up and manhandled the tap which was very stiff, said “Use much energy!” And left. Next morning we came for breakfast and most of the continental had gone, not restocked. We got the general impression that the number of staff were insufficient for the guests they were supposed to provide for.

liegt direkt gegenüber eines Nachtclubs, starker Verkehr die ganze nacht, ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, dringend renovierungsbedürftig

The room had all we needed, but faded grandeur springs to mind. We booked this because of the car park, which was needed on our travels round the NC500.

Hotel is very tired looking, needs a lot of renovation.

Location and free parking.

Vert tired hotel and need of upgrading.
