"We have stayed many times over the years at the Copthorne Masterton but disappointed with this time."

Very clean. Bed was made properly as it should be, staff have been trained well in bed making. Too cold to swim in the pool. The restaurant was excellent. We had the Mother's Day celebration which was well done. Breakfasts were very good and the meal at night excellent too. Compliments to the restaurant staff and the chef.

The toilet seat didn't fit properly. Where the old door fitting had been removed the screw holes were just left. These should have been filled and painted. The shower rose just came off in my hand when adjusting the heat and strength of the water flow. It was the weekend so we just managed just keeping our hands on this shower fitting quite awkard to do. Be fore we left I gave the fitting to the cleaning supervisor. Outside scruffy, tiles missing from the patio. Not very satisfactory for a "superior" king room and the price we had to pay!

Park right outside our room, pool facilities, nice big outdoor grounds. Bed was comfortable, and overall clean and tidy.

Had a terrible night's sleep there was some sort of machinery going next to our room, maybe an industrial dryer, not sure but it was very loud and disturbing. Buffet breakfast was not that great. There was a brown mark of some sort on our "clean" hand towel.

"Dated but still comfortable"

Comfortable and convenient location. Beds were great. Lots of pillows. Room was spacious.

I stayed here about 20 years ago when it was newish. Now looks as if renovations are needed. Roads to rooms were full of potholes.
