Spinnakers Brewpub & Guesthouses

I booked this sort of last minute, as a room suddenly appeared available. I had no idea what to expect, and boy were we ever impressed. We were in Suite 8, and what a beautiful suite, with lots of windows and a great view. The Guest House is only a minutes walk from the pub and a 2 minute walk to the seawalk along Victoria's inner harbour. The views are stunning! We loved it, and what a nice touch to include a flight of beer with some truffles to pair with the beer. I would absolutely stay here again, hopefully it doesn't sell!

This was such a a fun place to stay for a quick night in Victoria. We loved the history of the brewery and property. It was walkable to the downtown area without being right in the center of the noise. Though the guesthouse was thin walled the room had more amenities then most hotels and the room had a small deck for morning or afternoon drinks and fresh air.

Lovely stay in a unique room. Can easily hear other guests in the hallway but everyone was quiet and respectful

Was visiting the island and thought we would give spinnakers a try as it’s in a wonderful location and it looked like it had a great vibe. We were a party of seven. Our meals took over 45 minutes to arrive, and there was not one item that any of us enjoyed. The halibut in the fish and chips was an overcooked brick and the batter was burnt and dry. Even the fries were overcooked and burnt. Pizza and burgers were no better. It was a memorable evening for all of us because that was one of the worst meals we’ve all experienced in recent memory. It pained us to spend several hundred dollars on a meal that was sub par. The only bright light was our server who was lovely and kind, we didn’t complain to her, wasn’t her fault. I’m sure this place is fine for just drinks and the location, just don’t expect anything special for food.

Fabulous stay. Resturant and pub yummy. Arrived when trivia was on so lots of fun. Room in heritage house was spacious and lovely. Squeaky bed only issue but not enough to really worry us
