Quality Inn Boca Raton University Area

Where do I begin? This place makes a dumpster behind a truck stop look like the Ritz. From the moment I stepped into the lobby—which smelled like a strange mix of wet carpet and sadness—I knew I had made a grave mistake. When I opened the door to my room, I was hit with a wall of stale air and what I can only describe as mold. There were piles of poop surrounding the pool. Inside of the pool was filthy, with leaves and particles floating all around. I asked for 4 towels and was stared at like I was asking for gold. I was told they didn’t have 4 towels and was given 2 instead. Everybody was coughing and sneezing all night. Most of us were sick the next day. This was a last minute hotel find and a LAST ever because I would never stay there again. I now have a deep distrust for any hotel with more than one star. The guy at the front desk was cool though. Zero stars. Negative stars.

The breakfast. Main item was waffle but there was only one iron to accommodate a large group. Could benefit with a protein addution.

It's an older hotel. 2 floors. No elevator. It was refurbished but it's been awhile and it shows. The front staff was very accommodating and out going.

They don’t even offer or have available A bottle of water… horrible experience!

Hotel is very old. Beat up, definitely NOT worth the price. Needs a complete re do. At least there were no bugs. Breakfast...only hot food was the diy pancakes. I have never stayed in this area before, so therefore I am unable to make a comparison. I will not stay here again.

Room was great, breakfast was sad but at least they had a waffle maker.

I liked where the hotel was located close to the beach, very calm and quiet. I stood at this hotel with my 3 children. Certain things were not pleasing like a shower without a curtain and a coffee machine with mold but other than that it was in a good location for a family to stay for the weekend. It was the cheapest that I could find in the South Florida area. We went to the beach and enjoyed it even though it was a cloudy day, but we had a good time. Breakfast was good but they seemed greedy about the amount of food that you take. They announced that breakfast would be from 7am to 10 am but they start closing up 30 minutes before 10am. We didn't get in their pool at all, the pool was dirty and unwelcoming. So, I would only recommend this place as a last resort.

No shower curtain, I had to ask housekeeping for one the next day. coffee machine had mold, so I didn't use it at all. The pool was unwelcoming, very dirty and no sign of maintenance. Greedy with their breakfast, I took a huge amount of cereal, and they felt uncomfortable about that, but I explain that I had 3 children waiting in the room and I needed the amount that I took.

Scary hotel in a bad area of Boca Raton - which I didn't think was possible.
