Cambridge Bar Hill Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Good hotel to spend your holiday not far from city centre just 20 minuttes by bus cambridge is very lovely city very safe and peace you will mix with all nationalities enjoy your time . smile you are in cambridge Barhill hotel.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Parts of the room were looking a bit tired, and the radiator didn’t work very well, so on a night when it was -10 degs, the room was cold.

We had great service and the meals were had were very good. The menu was good as was the wine list. The common areas were clean and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were a bit tired and required a makeover.

Let me start with the staff, they really are very friendly and helpful, especially reception on our arrival. Quite disappointed with our room though, 104. Yes we did bring our dog so knew our room wasn't going to be the "best" standard but we did pay £15 for the dog so in my eyes this does contribute to the extra cleaning however our room was not very pleasant, stains on the floor, previous customers hair on the counters, bathroom very run down and to be honest did not feel very clean. As I said I understand having a dog room it is never going to be the best but clean I do expect. You would think charging 15 for every dog would cover any of this!?. Can't fault the staff but the room has put me off. Just for reference we have stayed in plenty of dog friendly places before but they have been clean which I imagine is down to to fee you have to pay. Disappointed but we move.

This is my thirds stay in two months. Lovely hotel, yes it's gaving work done, but the food is great the staff are friendly and it never disappoints, it's ticks all the boxes. Can't wait to see the pool finished

Another great golf weekend at Bar Hill. Always excellent value for money, nice golf course and very friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Marc for flexibility around tee times, odd numbers and single supplement. They even laid on good weather. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here for a weekend break 25-27 November 22 despite mixed reviews we found the hotel very clean and comfortable the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble it’s got a refurbishment start in the new year which might cause a bit of disruption but overall very happier with our stay , thank you P.S great base to explore Cambridge

This was the venue for our training course. i advised ahead of time about my allergies and the chef was knowledgeable and catered really for me. Simon and Lisa provided my snacks throughout the course on a separate plate to everyone else and walked me through the lunch options each day stating what i could and couldn't have and always with a smile! Thank you.

I first stayed in this hotel 14 years ago and it was dated then. Sadly it is still the same, desperately in need of renovation. The room was large but empty, freezing cold and very poor lighting. The shower room was tiny, dirty behind the toilet, mould on the bath silicone and the shower on hotest setting was not really warm enough. I thought being taken over by Best Western the rooms would be better. This is not the standard I expect from Best Western at all. Very disappointed with the stay. Thankfully it was only 1 night.

Think it is now time to make up rooms on a daily basis
