"Good"

Quick, easy booking. Comfortable bed, good size tv. Disappointments: no hairdryer in the room. As this was a last minute booking, I didn’t pack my phone charger plug (had the car charger). I was hoping there would be a spare plug kept at Reception but there wasn’t. When I discovered there was no hairdryer the next morning, I went downstairs to reception room ask but there was no time to wait for one as I had to leave, so left with wet hair.

"Good Service, Poor Hotel"

The staff were wonderful but the condition of the rooms is very poor, I could only comment on the superior rooms but they were very dated and the shower/bath is a catastrophe. I hear they are going to modernize the hotel, I might try again after that but not until it is complete.

"Excellent"

Very good service. The staff were very approachable and friendly. Giving you very good advice about getting to from Cambridge surrounding the area on public transport. Would recommend the hotel to people visiting Cambridge for price and service.

Conveniently located both for the motorway and Cambridge. Room large and comfortable and the hotel seemed to have lots of facilities: restaurant and bar although I didn't use either.

Nice and cosy hotel at a great price. Highly recommended. Parking included in the booking. Rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. Great location close to local amenities. 5 city bus stop nearby in case you are visiting Cambridge.

"Great staff, great room "

Probably the best BW facility I’ve stayed at. Good staff, clean and good evening meal. Not a fault of this location, but buffet breakfasts are always grim. Barely warm food, which must be boarder line acceptable to the minimum temperature requirement by environmental health.

"Needs an upgrade"

Needs an update! Sauna spa and pool closed, sink in the bath room was stained. Even the TV in the bar didn’t work! Breakfast was ok, but there was a lot of flies around. Evening meal was disappointing, a lot of warmed up frozen food seemingly, fish n chips seemed the best choice. But pizzas were not fresh and were burnt, baked Camembert came with one slice of a baguette, when our guest asked for another slice they wanted to charge. Staff were all friendly and tried their best. Not a four star hotel, but it didn’t stop us from having a good time.
