"It was a comfortable, convenient, newly remodeled place to stay."

8.0

It was easy to find, easy parking, and newly remodeled. It was within walking distance to downtown and next to a convenient store. It had a nice view of the bridge from outside our room.

The traffic noise early in the morning woke me up. Night was quiet except for a couple trucks.

EVERYTHING, it was perfect for me and my girlfriend

They kinda traped us inside when they were painting the building.

Some of the staff was friendly

Rooms need to be spiffed up. Noise from the road lessened only a few hours each night

"The better of the cheaper motels"

7.0

Actually, I really liked that the reading lamps were 'normal' bulbs and not the blue light ones. The bed was super comfy. The shower/bath was hot. Location is good: a good long walk along the riverwalk path to downtown, which might be too long for some folks. There are a couple of other motels slightly nearer town down the road, but they seem sketchy.

Check in was weird, but ultimately ok. The front desk person just didn't seem to want to explain things, and/or she didn't know what was going on. But ok.

"Bedbug Filth Nightmare"

1.0

I cannot think of one thing that I liked about this hotel, it's location or the people that work there.

Bed bugs, roaches and absolute filth. The floors in the rooms were disgusting and wearing white socks for 10 minutes meant the socks ended up in the garbage. Pulled out a 2-in thick glob of long hair, I'm bald, from the shower drain just to get it to empty. The location of this hotel is a nightmare. Across the street is a large Warehouse so trucks going by reverberate the sound which inundates the hotel and makes sleep very difficult. The homeless camps around the property showed that the homeless will check for open doors at the hotel which happened to me as they defecate and urinate in the parking lot of the hotel and leave trash everywhere. Even one of the workers at the hotel was seen smoking drugs on the property while he was supposed to be working and he lives at that hotel. I had no electricity and no heat and no phone and no television for two nights and got no value credited back to me by the pathetic staff that works at this slum like hotel. So to summarize, bugs filth homelessness feces urine garbage homeless raising hell all night outside and staff that could care less and do not know how to clean a room.

"Perfect location and value for money while in Astoria."

8.0

The room was spacious and the location perfect. Even though we were on a main road there was no noise and the sunrise along the walk way was pretty special.

The shower didn’t have any soap and there was no dish washing liquid.
