Americas Best Value Inn New Braunfels

It is what you get when you stay at a cheap motel.

Room was clean, towels were plentiful and the A/C worked great which is a plus in the summer in Texas.

The bed was a little stiff and the room next door was blocking the walkway while they drank their Modelos outside on the walkway. I watched a family try to get by and have to squeeze by to get to their room. It's not a bad place just needs supervision. Also the hand and shower soap could be better.

When we booked this room days early, we requested a roll in shower room preferably room 104 which we have stayed in many times before. We received an email from the property saying that they would be happy to accommodate us. However when we arrived we were told that the customers from the day before requested to stay over another night therefore we were made to take the smoking room 107 which my having asthma and my husband having quit smoking make this room very uncomfortable. We had to go buy Lysol and spray the whole room just to be able to stay in the room and breath.

Well I was quoted a price by booking.com and was charged $194.00 more. I booked for 3 adults 2 children, bit it turned out to be 2 adults, and 3 children .

The room was nasty

The location was great and the staff was very nice and helpful

The rooms are on the smaller side, we had 3 adult females in our 1 room and it was a little snug

Pros: the receptionist was nice, the property looks ok. Cons: Rooms need to be more clean carpet, lamps, sofa that's the more dirty or most notably

I would not book here again for the simple fact that the rooms look and felt dirty. The pictures on the website are very well edited. I personally would rather book at another hotel next time. It just reminds you of a dirty motel 6.
