Historic old building decorated appropriately for the turn of the century (1900). Rooms nice blend of modern amenities and old décor. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb hot breakfast the following morning. Quiet stay.

One of the best places ever

My sister and I stayed there for an evening for a wedding reception that was in town. We loved everything about the place. The rooms are so quaint and comfortable. The food was amazing and the staff was outstanding.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. We felt like Victorian aristocrats, living in a mansion. The staff were wonderful, and we wanted for nothing. The views from the porches and verandas and the roof are spectacular. The room had a spa tub, certainly a plus. The only down side are the stairs, not suitable for physically disabled persons, but the ground floor has a room and all the amenities.

Great B &B. Owner was awesome and thought of every thing. So glad we stayed.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mont Rest: it’s an amazingly beautiful building with a rich history, the innkeeper is a perfect host, and she cooks the best breakfast one can imagine. I hope that I can come back one day.
