Blue Bay Villas

Wir sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend in Empfang genommen worden. Obwohl es 8.00 Uhr morgens war, durften wir schon einchecken und bekamen auch noch ein Frühstück. Das Zimmer war mit allem eingerichtet, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt (3 Nächte) benötigt. Die ganze Hotelanlage einschliesslich Swimmingpool ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Chefin spricht ein gutes Englisch, alle unsere Fragen wurden kompetent beantwortet.

It was a huge disappointment. This was the last stop on our honeymoon and we were looking forward to relaxing at the hotel, but we couldn't wait to leave here. On hotels.com it advertises (as of September 2017) that there is in-room wifi, but there is NOT. And the wifi in the lobby area is very spotty. When we went to reception with the issue, we got absolutely no help. When we showed her our printout, she responded, "do you see it saying wifi in-rooms on there?" (it just says wifi on our confirmation, it said in-room wifi on hotels.com when we booked). We had ask to move rooms to one closer to the wifi area and she said no. The room was in okay condition, but the towels felt really used (at least they were clean though). None of the sheets or towels were changed until the last day. There were no complimentary shampoos or soap. On the second day, we had ants in our room with no open food containers, and we have no idea where they came from. Breakfast was gross. It was supposed to be until 10am, but when we went at 9am there was already almost nothing left. We ended up eating breakfast out most mornings. The location was fine since we rented a car. It's right near the airport, but the planes didn't bother us (we live near an airport).

the rooms were big and airy but not too much in bathroom though comfy. The hostess and ladies providing breakfast service were very helpful and hospitable and breakfast was good. We are right on beach near Kamari and airport but about 20 min from Capital city of Thira and about 40 min from Oia. But the daily tours pick up from hotel and there is bus service and taxi service available so very convenient and nice location as only 10 min from airport. Very safe area even by night to walk about.

Stayed for 3 nights, hired a moped, crased and visited hospital, hotel staff very helpful.

We absolutely loved this adorable villa. It is nothing fancy, but such an amazing value and so neatly kept. Nota, the owner and proprietor, was so helpful. We arrived early and she came in especially to check us in... she helped book our sailing trip and our taxi to the airport. If you want opulent luxury, go elsewhere... but if you want an authentic feeling Grecian, blue and white experience, we could not recommend Blue Bay Villas more highly! Will be back and will stay longer next time:)

You get exactly what you pay for. Our room was a good size, although the bed was very squeaky. The bathroom was small with a very small shower, and they didn't change our towels once (we stayed three nights). We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The pictures show a pool bar with lots of seating, however the bar was never open and there were no seats. The staff were very friendly and helped us with all of our questions. There isn't much around the area, but that didn't bother us - we hired a car (which the owners helped organise for us), and we also walked along the beach (a very long and stoney walk) to Kamari which had lots of taverns, places to lay on the beach and little shops. There is a lot a mini supermarket a stones throw away from the hotel. Would recommend the hotel if you want something cheap and cheerful.

the desk staff was not accomodating, and the breakfast is quite lower than standard, the door was not that much secured as 2 times someone tried to open our room door additional with that they're price was very high for that kind of service, location, and their food.

Santorini is beautiful! This hotel was nice, clean, with helpful friendly. Only down side to this hotel is the location. Even though it's in the beach front. There's no sunloungers on the beach, no bar or restaurant, and there's no local bars/clubs/restaurants nearby so have to get buses/taxi everywhere. The buses to and from this location also stop earlier than anywhere on the island which is annoying. But if your looking for a quiet getaway and don't mind renting a car/quad bike then it's a nice quiet safe clean hotel with a nice pool and nice staff. Also aeroplanes are loud on the evening over your room. Breakfast is just cereal so very basic.
