Homewood Suites by Hilton Brighton

Starting to show its age - getting a bit run down. The real problem was the hot tub was not operational. I get it - that can happen. The next morning when I told them the hot top wasn't working the response was a "meh". She said she'd have maintenance take a look at it. No "thank you for letting me know" No "I'm sorry you couldn't use our hot top last night". Nothing. She really didn't seem to care. And that attitude seems to be showing up in the overall quality of the place which I have seen decline over the years I have stayed there.

Suite was great, staff was helpful & the location is nice.

I've stayed here a few times. Staff have always seemed like they are multi-tasking. However, they are always friendly. The room was clean and nice. Some trim was broken, but honestly that didn't bother me. I slept on the pull out, it was broken, betting kids jumped on it or something. I always enjoy staying here, but unfortunately, the charge to stay is getting out of my price range.

I guess the amount I'm paying now. I'm sure it's competitive, and fair. But now, getting over my budget for an overnight stay.

Staff was great -all in working order and they had toilet paper in the room-comfy and good kitchenette. Pool and hot tub worked tho the hot tub did not really have good aeration, it was warm-so I was glad of that. Great breakfasts!!

The disrepair (kitchen faucet was unusable). On previous visit, bathroom tp holder was falling off the wall.

The pool was gross. It was foggy and overchlorinated. All my kids ended up getting sick. The room wasn’t stocked with coffee needs and tray that held the packages in was filthy (I had a suite with a coffee pot). Trim was falling off the wall with nail exposure. Window had a thick layer of frost where it was leaking. I stay here every year and you can tell it has gone downhill every year.

Absolutely great stay!! Staff was super friendly. Hotel was clean and very well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and the gentleman doing breakfast was very attentive and made sure everything stayed available. We will definitely stay again when we are back in that area.

Rude manager (probably senior employee) called the cops for people speaking in the lobby and lectured grown adults like children while their children were in the lobby, mind you, not being much louder than the tv playing in the same PUBLIC lobby. The day previous she threatened to call the police on a few 12 year old girls for being out past a nonexistent “curfew”. The room has a broken sink and is not equipped to hold and team events, like hockey teams for one. The key inserts on entrances near the minimal parking are broken, along with the two total elevators that break down commonly. The WiFi here is also shoddy and extremely slow. Don’t waste your money on this over priced “hotel”.

Wonderful place to stay … came for the Gilmore Girls Weekend with my mom and had a wonderful stay at the hotel.
