Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa

Great property and activities. Don’t expect anything other than being talked down to from the front desk staff. They are unwelcoming and do not recognize status. Additionally we had paid for an offered upgrade via the Hyatt App and they refused to recognize this and did nothing to rectify the situation. Go to enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings and stay away from the front desk and your stay should be fine.

The NYE fireworks show is amazing and my family has a tradition of spending New Years Eve at Lost Pines. They have always went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and treated us like family. This year something was amiss. I found out that a new self parking fee was required upon check in. This accompanied with the resort fees already charged. The service in the restaurants were less than par and there is a now a charge for the day spa use that was recently implemented. My wife and I were turned away when we arrived at the spa because we didn’t purchase a spa pass and there was no availability that day. The resort is beautiful and well kept and the fireworks have never disappointed us. The stay is already pricey but It just seems like these extra costs for use of amenities on top of resort fees are a form of greed being passed on to loyal Hyatt members

Lost Pines Hyatt Resort and Spa is one of our favorite places to go to meet up with family and to relax. Set back in a wooded area next to a river, the facility offers experiences that meets the needs of those who want adventure as well as those who just want to relax on the hammocks set in a spot among the trees (that is us!). The service is impeccable and the food is good. You can find food in all ranges of cost which is important. ( The room has a large refrigerator should you want to bring some of your own to offset some of the costs.) Our room this time had a balcony overlooking the river but it was pricier than our trips before. Was it worth the extra cost? Yes. Sitting outside and drinking our morning coffee while reading my favorite Krueger Cork O Connor mystery was wonderful. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Our visit to Lost Pines was disappointing. It appears that their target market is glamping with the kids for the weekend. The resort is short on amenities and needs a substantial investment to be classified as an upscale resort. We love kids and families, and this property is a great fit if that is what you are looking for. Bring the kids, your dog, and coolers!

We had another wonderful visit to the Hyatt Lost Pines last weekend, this time just Mom and Dad, no kids no dogs. It was a really sweet getaway. The room was perfect and the staff took really good care of us.

Beautiful resort. Plenty to do. Get lost and recharge. And talk about recharging they will charge your electric vehicle at this resort. Can’t say enough about this location been here three time already in December and loved each time.

Going cashless for food really doesn’t help people who want to pay cash for things. Old fashioneds for $25 is outrageously high. Also why do we pay for parking out in the woods- this is not downtown Austin or Houston. Parking should be free or just included. Also a resort fee is absurd - you don’t have a choice why not include it in the cost of the room - Florida changed the laws so they can’t do that there- maybe I should work on our state government here to repeal any such costs. It’s just money grabbing where there’s no needs as for the room I would say 3 Star at best- it’s as good as a Hampton inn , did like the ceiling fan in the room , staff was okay but not 4 or 5 Star level and gracious as you would see at a resort property- I would say do some benchmarking a Ritz or at least a Waldorf and take some lessons. Parking is also way too far away and people need to know it’s a hike to get the car if it’s needed. Only one elevator was working for that wing and that is unacceptable - you have a huge dance team going on and have to wait forever for the elevator- get an elevator contract that fixes it immediately- this is a senior manager item to fix- all really good properties do this so the guest may have one day of none use but 3 whole days for the entire weekend. Poor leadership across the board - feels a lot like maybe 2.5 star service- lots of work to be done here for a property that costs 500$ a night plus all the god awful fees

Lost Pines Resort and Spa is a slice of heaven. It is beautiful and peaceful. It is easy to navigate and nestled into a gorgeous piece of nature. Loved staying here!

The rooms are lovely!!! It never gets old coming to this resort, we have stayed 3x same time each year, and we notice new changes for the better each time. The staff are friendly and helpful. willing to help even if that was not their specialty in the job. Never rude and calm. The decorations and events happening on sight are so nice to have so you dont feel like your just at hotel. So many activities and options for kids and grown-ups to enjoy. The resort land is beaituful and clean you feel at peace in nature.
