Comfort Suites Johnson Creek Conference Center

Absolutely filthy. This hotel was the absolute worst. The rooms, carpet, lobby and breakfast areas were disgustingly dirty. At breakfast they didn’t have milk, so you couldn’t have the basic cereal they provided. We moved a chair in the room and found old French fries under it. Another member of our party found blood stains on their sheets. Housekeeping never came once over the three days we were there for a family wedding in the area. We stopped a person with a cart in the hall and asked for clean towels and she said they were ‘out of towels’. The front desk staff were never at the front desk. When our key cards stopped working mid- stay, we tracked down an employee and asked for new cards- he handed them out without asking our names or checking ID’s so security was non- existent. The fact that the County environmental health inspectors had closed the pool perhaps explained the sour sewer smell that was pervasive throughout the entire property.

I booked a room at the Comfort Suites Johnson Creek WI in late Aug 2025. Upon arrival I was notified the pool was closed due to not meeting state standards. Upon entering my room things went from bad to worse, see attached pictures. The HVAC unit was full of black mold. The refrigerator door and carpet below was also moldy. Pulling back the sheets revealed multiple large yellow stains and an abundance of hair, obviously not washed recently. I immeadiatly notified the front desk who's only reaction was to tell me they had no other rooms available and could not refund me for the room. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact a manager, including leaving multiple messages, I am still without a refund on a room I didn't stay in.

A few years ago this was a very nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The beds are comfortable. However — The pool is broken down for health concerns. The rooms aren’t clean as we had leftover food still in our fridge when we checked in. Tried to sit on the patio but the fire pit didn’t work. The gate to the patio didn’t lock so anyone could enter. We didn’t even chance breakfast because of how dirty everything else in the hotel was.

Poor service. Evidently the state had shut the pool down😱. Had a room that slept 5 but only 2 towels and 1 shampoo. Breakfast very limited ended up having to swing by kwik trip. Not clean be prepared for pet hair.

Nothing was good at this property Everything was broken or out of order Including the pool

Good breakfast Was sad Pool was closed I brought 2 bathing suits was there 7 days and couldn’t use them.

We had to stop for the night and couldn't go any further, so we checked it here at this place. Check-in was easy and we got a room on the 3rd floor and there was an elevator available. We got to the room and it was very nice and had several outlets to use. The HVAC worked and all the amenities for the bathroom were there. They've got breakfast that's somewhat better than a continental type. Good stay and a little way from the interstate.

No towel service for 4 days. Hotel did not have towels for all their rooms. No cups, cup covers, sweetener for coffee. One morning they ran out of some breakfast foods.

Would have liked to use the pool or hot tub but was on available
