Very comfortable bed, very clean , pool was good Dinner menu unexciting

Room was fine. Only thing I had an issue with was the heating turning itself on. I didn't want the heating on due to it triggering my asthma. Found a way to turn it off though eventually so all was good! It would have been better if there was controllable air conditioning as I was a little concerned from a safety point of view sleeping with the window open as a lone female on the ground floor.

After the computer at check in failing then the card machine did not work, the receptionist then used another computer gave me the key, but still card machine not working, went to the room only to find it was occupied with another guests clothes and case in! Went back to reception and had to wait for another room, the room was an adjoining room and very noisy. I stupidly left a pair of trousers in the room, contacted the hotel after the stay to be told I had to arrange collection as they don't have a delivery service, considering the above I thought they may have made a exception. Also main bar very poorly stocked no choice of beer, shame hotel seemed ok, may not return

The location was fabulous. Check in could be hugely improved. We were given no information about the bars, restaurants, opening hours of the spa, time of breakfast. We spotted other guest wandering around aimlessly like ourselves. Bar/restaurant work really hard and food was delicious. Drinks priced well for hotel. Bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. Room was spotless. Spa was amazing, will visit again.

Its an OK place, basic breakfast which was warm at best, evening meal choice limited and basic

A great stay as usual , that’s why I go back when I’m working down that way .

Was an early birthday treat / stop off on our way to Cornwall to see a university - the room was sold as an atrium view - as we our trip was in the winter and we would be arriving and leaving in the dark I didn’t think this would be a problem. However it basically felt like I was sleeping in the middle of a pub as the noise coming up from the bar / restaurant in the atrium was not at all blocked out by the window. Our room had a previous guests dirty socks in. The pool and spa area was good - the floor in the ladies reside changing was filthy. Would not rebook

The lodges could do with an upgrade in places but a fantastic family break in a wonderful setting. Hotel facilities were great too.

We stayed in room 127 which had a separate lounge with sofa bed, most of the view was the carpark but really lovely room, clean and spacious. The breakfast was buffet full english which was good, the lady serving gave great customer service, friendly, efficient and constantly seeing to guests. The swimming pool was very busy with lots of families with young children, this means the spa section is not very relaxing but it was in the school holidays. The jacuzzi in the small adults only area was not working which was a shame but there is a hottub fitting 6 people by the pool.
