Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

We had a deluxe room for one night as we were just passing through. Reception staff were helpful although not very smiley or friendly. The room was lovely. Clean with a large, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was dated but suitable with a very powerful shower. A mini fridge in the room would have been helpful We had supper in The Clubhouse which was lovely and relaxing. More veggie options would have been nice. I had a massage at the Spa and it was wonderful, as was Abbie who did my treatment. Would highly recommend. Breakfast was plentiful although no vegetarian sausages immediately available and with a fifteen minute wait. Would have been nice to have some ready to serve. However the fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast etc were plentiful and delicious. Overall this is a good place to stay with great facilities and spacious rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Food at Pulse perfectly acceptable. Beds firm but comfortable.

Nice room, comfortable bed & clean. Returning guest but noticed a few changes. Only disappointment was set up for breakfast, in the first morning we were jostling to get to buffet as there was a stream of people making their way to fitness classes and they have to walk alongside buffet. As far as we could see this could be avoided if they were told to enter through spa entrance instead. Then on second morning it was busy and after being checked on breakfast list we were just left to find a spare table with no offer to clear one of the ones filled with dirty dishes for us

The moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the outstanding beauty of the countryside and with the quality of the hotel which was also very spacious. We felt very pampered by the facilities provided. Maria in charge of the breakfast showed unprecedented professionalism and was very welcoming. I would have liked to have seen a few seats scattered around outside, other than just by the clubhouse. Nevertheless we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff.

The friendly reception was brilliant and the swim/ spa area was lovely. Really impressed with the lodge....like a tardis! Thanks fir a great stay :-)

Booked this place because of a last-minute business trip. The hotel is on lovely geounds and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a bit tired and dated, but clean. This biggest issue i had with the room is how thin the walls were. I could here every sniff and cough coming from my neighbouring rooms. The TV in the next room sounded like it was on in my room. The other problem is that when i opened my window, my downstairs neighbours were smoking on their balcony so my room filled with smoke. It was a really hot day and not being able to open my window was a right pain.
