The hotel was spotlessly clean both in the room and communal areas. It was in a beautiful quiet location. The staff were helpful and accomodating, despite dealing with some technical issues. They made sure the technical issues didn't affect our stay at all. The food was really nice in the main restaurant and it was lovely and quiet. Not somewhere with a busy party atmosphere but that suited us. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in Mere haven Suite which is huge, with separate living/dining room. Nice view over the golf course. Nice little kitchen, that could be better stocked with cutlery if eating in, which we did. Bit of an issue as the key card doors weren't working so you had to be let in by reception staff. Breakfast was nice. Not loads of choice but good juice and coffee., hot buffet.

Overall a very nice stay with helpful and friendly staff and a good cafe for dinner and breakfast. We have marked it down because there was a problem with the door keys which meant that we had to be let into our room by a member of staff each time we returned to our room. They did this with good grace but it was inconvenient and would have been helpful if we had been warned in advance as we might have changed our plans. We understand these things happen but it seems it was due to a power cut resetting the codes which seems like something that might recur and seems it may take several days to fix.

Spotless and comfortable lodge, we had a comfortable accommodation.

Nice stay. Location is brilliant. Facilities are great. Brekkie is limited ad bathrooms need an upgrade.
