The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

This was a 1 night meeting up with family. The hotel was perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable. The towels soft and fluffy and the linen exceptional. We enjoyed the excellent spa facilities and my grandson aged 13 made good use of the driving range. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the dining room with a great view over the hills. Our food was well cooked and tasty.

Easy to find, clean facilities and staff v friendly. Nice to have a child free 3 hours in the pool area

Not as close to the town as I’d envisaged, but Uber’d to local restaurants

Location

We could not access the restaurant during our stay due to it being booked out. We would not have booked if we knew this was the case. We are at a sports tournament for three days running and wanted to eat with the other parents in the restaurant in the evenings. The staff were excellent but the bar and restaurant were understaffed and stretched.

We were at the hotel for my brother’s wedding and we had a great time yhe rooms were perfect and the staff were excellent. Lovely stay!

Daughter got me a spa day for my 60th which was good tbh/f, however it stated on the room service menu that it was 24hrs service. I asked a member of staff for a sandwich and he replied no we only serve until 10pm, he was impolite and rude and i was left dissapointed, I spoke to the manager the next day who was very polite and he apologised that they were in the process of updating new menus. We held our wedding here at the Telford. It was MAGICAL! For me it started with a spa visit which was amazing! The room we had for getting ready for our big day was superb. The added bonus for us was that our dog could be there. I couldnt thank the Telford enough for everything they have done for us

We stayed here as a brief overnight stay on 2nd April on the way to Snowdonia, however events with weather meant we had to abandon plans and spend a further two nights here on 4th/5th April. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to find us a room, despite being full. The location is superb, a 5 minute walk to Bliss Hill Victorian Village and 10 minutes down into Ironbridge Gorge with its amazing history and beautiful woodland walks along the River Severn. The hotel rooms were very clean, quite specious and breakfast was very good. The staff at the hotel treated you like friends and were so welcoming.
