Progress Hotel

The Progress hotel is tucked away,near the Sheraton Hotel.Staff were very helpful,and welcoming.The interior was bright and calming. Nice to have security cards for the doors and lift. Beautiful room/bathroom.Nice touches included,toiletries,pen and paper,Nepresso coffee machine(most welcome),kettle,and really comfortable bed. This Hotel is so central-not far to good eating places,and the fab shopping centre. If,like Sandra,you are on kidney diyalysis,it is near to Clinique St Jean. Def stay there again.

The hotel was basic, but it was OK for the price. Bed was not terribly uncomfortable. Old bedding - stained room. Very small blanket on the bed that didn't completely cover me.

What a fantastic hotel! The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and very comfortable with consistently a good temperature. I felt safe in and around near the hotel and spent a few days in the city, trying out some of the best Belgium pubs on offer! (Delirium Cafe is essential!) The public transport system was very cheap and easy to find your way around. Being close to a major stop on the tram (routes 1 and 4) made it easy to find the hotel. However, we didn't feel fully safe using the metro system later into the evening. Overall, a fantastic hotel in a great city for a incredibly reasonable price! Thank you ever so much.

We never stayed at this hotel in the end. After waiting and waiting for our room to be ready. Staff at desk saying 1pm then 2pm by half past 3 they still didn't know how long. I went across the road to the Hilton and was booked in with free drink and super staff in 10 mins. I would avoid this hotel and recommend you stay at the Hilton where the staff help no problem and with a smile.

Hotel is clean, and stuff is welcoming. Only issues I had was: (1) not internet reception in my room - manager said they will fix it, but they never did. (2) TV did not work properly, only 2 English channels, once again, was promised for a fix but it did not happened in my 3 night stay

I enjoyed this hotel as it was close to the train station and allowed me to walk when I arrived. Also, it was easy to get to the Grand Place in Brussels - within a 10 minute walk through a shopping district. The hotel is a boutique style hotel that had security doors so I felt safe staying here. It was modern, updated and clean. The bedroom had a comfortable bed for me, on the firm side. The bathroom had a soaking tub and was clean. I would easily book again. Front desk staff was helpful and cheerful. It had coffee/tea service in the room, but does not offer a free breakfast in the hotel.

Clean, quite comfortable, no problems, situated in a walking distance from the city center.

We were looking for a hotel convenient to the train station for a day trip to Bruges...and this filled the bill. Given that it was the weekend, we got a good price (the hotel is located in a commercial/business area, about a 15 min walk from the Grand Place). Room was well-appointed and comfortable. Selection at breakfast was adequate but a bit uninspired (canned fruit!)

Good facilities, and in good company with some other hotels in the area, with the possible exception of the one next door! No problem with leaving luggage for later collection after checkout.

seems every thing was perfect, but I would say if the staff in reception could more friendly that would be better. another thing is the price was bit expensive..anyway, in total, it is a nice hotel..
