Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa

We had a small problem at check-in, but management was excellent and fixed everything right away. They went above and beyond our expectations - much above. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always smiling, making eye contact, and asking how you are – something rare to find in Cyprus. The hotel is in a superb location on a peninsula with breathtaking sea views from everywhere. Its elevated position makes the atmosphere even more special. It’s a small, uncrowded hotel right next to the best beach in Pafos, with private sunbeds. There are also plenty of sunbeds by the pool. Some might say it feels a little dated, but for us it was perfect. Everything blends together to create an elegant, classy, and relaxing vibe which would probably be lost with more modern fixtures, fittings and furniture. It’s one of the few places where you just want to sit on the veranda of the lobby with a drink, enjoy the amazing view, and soak in the atmosphere. Overall I would say that it is one or the best hotels on the island.

Wow, fantastic facility & hope to return in the future! All staff are so nice, the evening music were entertaining, pool area has many seating options, and the view from the rooms is simply magical! You can hear the waves from the room and it’s very relaxing. Nearby a lovely area of the beach. Excellent food. Spa & gym facilities (limited equipment) were also great.

Second visit, we stayed on a B&B basis. Rooms are good with excellent sea views. Breakfast was good too. Bar meals are very good and drinks are overall expensive. Staff are amazing, especially Jyoti, Alon, Tilak, Himal and Josh. Great location. Other visitors explained that All Inclusive Premium deals were not “all inclusive” so read the small print and double check. Recommended.

The hotel is located right on the beach, and the rooms have a sea view. 2 minutes from the hotel there is a very well-stocked supermarket, but also the 615 bus stop which, in about 30 minutes, takes you to the Thombs of the Kings station from where you have connections with other buses, including to the airport. Our room was very large and clean. The food was very tasty, and the staff very friendly. I highly recommend it.

We were initially booked at Coral Bay, however were moved to Thalassa due to overbooking. This was a little disappointing due to the rest of the family being located at Coral, however this situation was wonderfully handled by Joanna and Androulla (thankyou ladies!). Thalassa is beautifully located, has fantastic facilities, a lovely spa (thankyou Resty and Viktoria- at Coral), the food is amazing and it's most impressive feature - it's staff. The customer service and general friendliness was outstanding, with each team member smiling welcoming and going out of their way to make us feel at home. The only reason it did not get the 5th star is purely down to some areas of the hotel needing a little refurbishment, especially the bathrooms however this is a minor detail because there were so many positives. Highly recommended!

My wife and I returned today from an incredible weeks stay at this truly wonderful hotel. We have recently had a bad holiday experience (see our review on Royalton St Lucia) and really wanted a nice relaxing break. Wow, did we get it. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived very early in the morning. We were greeted by a super friendly night receptionist who checked us in and informed us that there was some food in our room in case we were hungry. This was the beginning of total 5 star service. Our room was stunning , very clean with everything you could need looking out over the beautiful Coral Bay. We were only bed and breakfast as we like to go out to eat, but the food was of a very high standard, especially the omelettes which were cooked to order. The pool area is very nice and as other reviews have mentioned, there are no idiots running around reserving sunbeds, so there are plenty available. There are also plenty of towels supplied each day by the very friendly pool attendant who also brings round cold flannels at the hottest part of the day ! This was just one of the nice touches that make this hotel so good. The staff are just fantastic, and I really do mean fantastic. They are all ( yes ALL) so friendly, and they will do anything to help you. The beach is a short walk down some steps by the pool area and it is a beautiful beach. There are a few beds that belong to the hotel on the beach which is also a nice touch. The main strip is about a 20 minute walk where there are bars restaurants and shops but there is also a supermarket about 5 minutes from the hotel and next to it a great bar called Legends Lounge Bar that is really good. There is one thing I would like to suggest to the management however- our flight home was a night flight and our room was not available for a late check out so we were in limbo from midday It would have been nice to have had the option of a room with air-conditioning even for an hour before leaving the hotel instead of having to shower and change in the spa, which was very hot. This does not stop us from giving one of the only 5 star reviews we have ever given. Thank you all so much for helping make our holiday so fantastic, especially Maria, for her correspondence on the run-up to our holiday. Keep doing what you are all doing because you are brilliant.

this is a top notch hotel , the only hotel in Paphos, Cyprus that is built on ancient ruins, now protected by Unesco. The suites are amazing, with breath taking views. Enjoy the summer with great food at Psari(fish)restaurant, and have your Aperol by the pool facing the bay. Day and night the hospitality is amazing, thank you Andri( GM), thank you Demetris(restaurant), thank you Maria (reservations), thanks you Eliza (pool) thank you Nikolas (F&B) ...what A Great Team 100/100

Many thanks! Just returned from our 5th stay with you. Such a lovely hotel--- a little gem--- and a very special place to us both. Unfortunately due to health issues, we will not be returning. The travelling is just too much for us now. Special thanks to all your dedicated staff. And extra special thanks to Jyoti and Thereza -- two lovely , ever cheerful girls who brought drinks round the pool daily in seering heat. They deserve a medal !!! Once again. Many thanks for a lovely, relaxing holiday. PS. Only downside was the fact that dogs are now allowed.

This hotel is a gem. Superb views, excellent food, cheerful and helpful staff. Adults only, if you want a delightful rest or a special place for a celebration, this is it!

Amazing all round!!!! Beautiful hotel and views with great food and staff. Absolutely loved our stay here and would come back if we came back to Cyprus. Local area is small but fun. Avoid Paphos.
