Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa

visited this hotel with a group of friends in June 2025, and I can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and smooth check-in service. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful,exactly what we needed to unwind. Whether we were lounging by the pool or enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the balcony, the surroundings were calm and serene. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. Every space, from the lobby to the rooms, felt fresh and well maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day, and the attention to detail really made a difference in our overall comfort. There was also no shortage of entertainment. Whether it was live music in the evening,or simply exploring the nearby attractions, we were never bored.The hotel offered just the right balance of relaxation and fun. All in all, this was a perfect trip. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful place to recharge with friends while still having plenty to do this hotel is it. We’re already planning our next stay!

Beautiful surroundings but in the middle of nowhere

Wonderful hotel, especially the location next to Cove Bay which is a musy to swim in

First of all, the staff. Everyone is very nice, smiling and very helpful. We have never met such nice service. Greetings to Mrs. Natalia, the animator, who greeted guests for dinner every evening and did not refuse to help anyone. No one forces tips and literally throughout the week there was not a single unpleasant situation with the staff. The food, sensational. We have been to several good hotels and nowhere else has there been such a variety and quality of food. Of course, apart from breakfasts, because they are the same every day, but also delicious. Lunch and dinner are something different and delicious every day. It is a pity that a person only has one stomach, because you could not try everything. I dare say that the food in the restaurant was generally better than in the "a la carte" one. Although I would give a lot for the ceviche from the "a la carte" to try it again. The surroundings are divine. The hotel is situated on a bay with a sandy beach, which is so attractive that boats come from other hotels so that guests can swim in the bay, but there are no crowds. The water is warm and clean in June. The room is not the newest and not too big, but clean and quite sufficient for a couple. All rooms have a sea view. Our room was on the lowest level and additionally we had a terrace with a lawn and sun loungers instead of a balcony. A big plus for "adults only", because it means peace and quiet in the restaurants, bars and by the pool. Minuses that do not change our delight with this hotel. The first minus was the location of our room (no. 106). It was located on the lowest level, right next to the technical rooms and in the evenings you could hear slight noises, something like dragging sunbeds or tables across the floor. Sometimes (about three times during the stay) you could feel a slight smell of sewage. The second is the seaweed washed up by the sea, near the hotel. They stink a bit and you had to walk a little further, but that's not the hotel's fault, because all beaches in Cyprus are public.

We had a lovely time at Thalassa Beach, not least because the Head Waiter, Aristo, looked after us so well, as did the lovely Samita on reception. This is an Adult only hotel with a Spa but we did not use their services so cannot comment. It is also dog friendly, which is fine but anyone wary of dogs might need to be aware. We did find all staff to be extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Our flight arriving had been delayed so we arrived about 1am and although we were b&b we had sandwiches, fruit, little cakes and a bottle of wine left in our room. A lovely, thoughtful touch. A few days into the holiday the hotel also did a Welcome cocktail and nibbles for latest arrivals, to meet some of the hotel staff, which was also very nice. In fairness we did have a couple of small issues, the safe needed a new battery but was dealt with quickly and I wasn’t particular happy being woken up a couple of days by people playing tennis in the morning. But then it was 8 0’clock and for some that’s really not a problem. We were in room 716 which was great as we prefer a higher up room, (this room enjoyed afternoon Sun on its balcony) but was on the West side so overlooking the tennis court. The shower would only operate with the hand and overhead shower heads going but we weren’t perturbed enough to want it fixed. We did mention it, so I’m thinking they will have got it sorted by now. The pool was in the shade much of the afternoon and again for some that is fine. The hotel also has a policy of letting guests leave their towels on their beds to be collected, which seems nice but actually on several days, we were completely bemused as to which beds had towels waiting to be collected or the owners were off at the beach or having lunch! We were more than happy to put our towels in the towel bins when we’d finished and feel most people would be too, thus letting everyone know a sun bed was actually free. We went walking most days and on our return would decamp to the Beach Bar, garden area, which was cooler for us. By the pool area on a few days there was a DJ playing music, which was not our cup of tea as we like the peace and quite but then everyone’s different. In any case, there does seem to be an influx of Boat trips coming to the bay, so we all had to enjoy their music anyway! We were lucky enough to visit Breeze bar, up behind Legends and the lovely Sharon gave us lots of tips of where to walk, see and eat. Thanks for the tip of the Second Cuppa coffee shop on the way into Coral bay high street Sharon, they do an amazing apple pie! We actually walked out and back to see the old ship wreck. Quite a walk but we noticed many people rent cars and drive there. We were on b&b which was certainly varied and sufficient. The chef will make you a delicious fresh omelette at your request. The toaster was too slow, but then aren’t they always! We enjoyed the Psari restaurant twice on our 10 day visit. This was an extra for us, ( I believe those on AI get to use the restaurant on one or some of there days ? For us paying separately, it wasn’t particularly cheap but worth it as the food was delicious and Aristo, was so kind and attentive, he made both our visits amazing. We love Aristo! We walked into Coral Bay most nights for dinner. A surprising variety of restaurants, from the usual burger bars to the very expensive Andria Steak house! We actually really liked the place next door, Seriani and returned on a couple of occasions. Something we rarely do as we do like to try everywhere. The staff were so friendly, the food was good and the cost reasonable. We enjoyed the food in Les Amis where we sat in their garden area. Coral bay does seem to offer quite a selection for everyone. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday!

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Everyone is friendly and doing their best to make your stay there enjoyable. Sumita in the reception always helpful and smiling, even more helpful Natalia always making sure everyone is entertained and happy ,she’s doing a great job we’re so grateful to meet her. Excellent housekeeping always making sure rooms are clean everyday. Food is wonderful and big applause for the chef. Waiters very fast and friendly. Bibash in the beach bar also deserves mentioning ,the drinks are fantastic ! Great area with stunning views. If you’re looking for an amazing hotel in Cyprus I would definitely recommend this one.

A fabulous adults only hotel. Staff are great - friendly, helpful and attentive - though service at dinner could be a bit slow - you have to keep asking for wine refills! Bedrooms are a good size and clean and comfortable. Balcony with a sea view is amazing - at both day and night. Bathrooms also a good size and kept clean - shower is in/over the bath, which could be tricky if you have mobility issues but was good for no flooding, like some cubicles can do! The swimming pool is a lovely area with good amount of sunbeds and great bay views. Spa is also good and we enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi and steam room. Food was excellent - all meals had enough choices that were fresh and hot - the evenings were themed, which kept it different each night and not with 20+ choices, which is so difficult to do well in an all inclusive hotel. Always good selection of salads and desserts too. The ‘a la carte’ was a lovely venue and good service but the menu didn’t suit us - personal choice though. Low key entertainment, so don’t expect day time activities or music etc. A couple of evenings with a singer or piano player, which was nice and suited us fine. An easy 15 minute walk to shops and local tavernas - worth venturing out if you fancy a change - lots of good restaurants - would recommend Lefkana. Coral Bay is a lovely part of Cyprus and the beach is just steps away from the hotel, with a clean and calm sea. You do get the party boat every day at about 11am, but that didn’t bother us - just people enjoying themselves and was funny hearing the same rules and lunch menu being read out each day! Generally, this is a perfect place if you want a quiet, relaxing break. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back 😊.

We visited with my girl friends for a long weekend, and had an amazing experience. The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the spa services were top-notch. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure! Also the location of the hotel at the Coral bay is a bonus since the beach is one of the best in Cyprus

The culinary experience exceeded all expectations—the dishes served were masterful, deserving of Michelin stars. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Not too big and very relaxing. The staff make this hotel what it is, especially s the chefs and restaurant staff. The food is also excellent. Would definitely stay again. The all inclusive option is incredible value.
