"Nice place to stay in Ely. Close to the Nevada Northern Ry museum."

Rooms and bed were nice. Great Mexican restaurant.

Hot tub was out of service for remodeling. Had to walk by the smoky casino t get to my room. No elevator to get to the second floor.

We stay here coming & going to/from our winter destination. We travel with our dog and the pet friendly rooms are the best of any of the hotels we stay in. Rooms are clean with good amenities, comfortable beds, restaurant is good, staff is friendly and price is good value. Two free drinks at bar & free gift at gift shop!

Unless you need a place to stay for a night, no need to go. Casino is slots only. Bar very limited. City boring as can be. Staff is very nice.

A one night stay at Prospector’s hotel got a “5” rating for its quirkiness, friendly staff, free beverage and amazing third-party-rate. Is this hotel modern and newly upgraded? That would be no, but it IS an experience that shouldn’t be missed if you want a funky-budget option when staying in Ely!
