"Fourth Time and Still GREAT!"

Since we found the Hampton Inn Jamestown it has been our go-to place to stay! Very convenient access to the downtown, I-86, and other areas of the city and county. This was our fourth stay there and we will be back next year for a fifth! Breakfasts are great and the only nit I found to pick was somebody replaced cranberry juice with "mango water" which was awful!

Stayed at this hotel previously and was not disappointed. The lobby was clean and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The gym was well appointed also.

"Overall good, but would be great with a few tweaks."

Very clean, wonderful staff, easy to find, comfortable bed, Tim Horton’s a minute away. Couldn’t hear people in other rooms or the other room doors closing and we were close to the elevator. Free fruit out in the breakfast/seating area all day & the breakfast room doors stay open to refill your water bottle. One of the elevators has an issue & it was fixed & working again promptly. Didn’t eat the breakfast, so can’t comment on that.

The pillows are TERRIBLE. The worst pillows I’ve slept on in a long time. I remember when hotel pillows used to be great, even in budget hotels. I tossed & turned until 2 am the first night until I finally found a pillow combination that didn’t hurt. Yes, not just uncomfortable, hurt. Even then, it was only passable, but at least I wasn’t in pain any more. There wasn’t enough light in the room. Unfortunately, the hotel has hone the way of the no overhead light in the main space & the two lamps weren’t sufficient to see much, especially at night. Also, the desk lamp, which was the brightest, bizarrely wasn’t adjustable. It was the perfect level to be blinding when you tried to turn it to see better.! What happened to towel racks? There is no good place to hang hand towels or set clothes in the bathroom if you’re getting dressed in there. And the bathroom outlet is in a hard to reach place.

We got a room with a king size bed. It was bigger than the average hotel room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was average hotel fare. The hotel is right off the expressway but not near anything in Jamestown
