Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Downtown

The location was ideal for its proximity to the convention center for a conference I attended. It’s within walking distance to campus and downtown, although it is easier to drive to some other locations. The parking situation is ideal and the piece of mind is worth the $30. Chris was very informative and eager to help with anything I had questions about. They offered a fan for the room so that I could be more comfortable. There’s plenty of snacks available and breakfast offers many healthy and traditional options, such as Greek yogurt, cereals, hot breakfast, and fruit. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting the area for business or travel.

We had a great stay at Hamden Inn and would absolutely give it five stars. The staff really stood out—they were consistently friendly, helpful, and made a point to greet us both when we arrived and when we headed out. That kind of warmth made the whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were on the front side of the building, which gave us some nice views. That said, if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to request a room toward the back or away from the street to minimize noise. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. If we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely be staying again.

Ebony and Chris were the best front desk people I have experienced in a long time. They were very nice and helpful. Next time I come to Knoxville I will stay here again.

We stayed in room 203 and had great service! Front desk service was great and the breakfast bar was ok. Loved the cleanliness of the room, and smelled very good and welcoming! The housekeeper was very nice too. Really noisy!

Breakfast was okay. Room was nice and spacious. Staff was fantastic and always checking to see if we needed anything.

Parking was a little steep. I received a notice that it would be $25 per day but when I arrived I was charged $30 per day. Shower door was a little strange that it didn't close. Had to put a towel near the opening to prevent water from getting all over the floor. (Room 614)

Room was very noisy. some from inside the hotel, other guests, but mostly traffic noise. Prices online didn't say anything about pay to park, when I asked I was told $25 per night, but was billed $30.
