Travelodge by Wyndham Missouri Valley

Would be nice to offer room service from pennys diner, across the parking lot. Assessible room with two beds was very small. Accessible shower with bench seat was fantastic. Handrails on toilet would be quite helpful as well as a toilet that sits higher. Staff was quite helpful

Great place to stay! Nice people, good place to eat on location! Sooo quiet and good bed.

Room was very clean and was close to places to eat.

We got out of the house for our anniversary. Went there because of pet friendly & Loess Hills. Many railroad workers there, as well as people going to College World Series (all a good sign). Diner wasn't bad. All staff (diner & motel) friendly & efficient. Mo Valley no biggie, although I DID buy some paperbacks at the local library & we DID see that the Rialto was showing "Incredibles 2"! Somehow, I had the idea that a place owned by Wyndham would be a TAD more upscale, in the room at least?! What was I thinking?? Nice time anyway :)

Especially liked the continuous fan on the AC to muffle outside noises and avoid the cycling during the hot night

We got in very late Friday night June 8. The all night diner is also the check in desk. The lady at the desk was complaining about Expedia and how you sometimes mess up reservations. It took about an hour to get our rooms as she had to redo the whole reservation....I think she charged me again for the room. I reserved it with you and paid you! Please contact them!!!!

Our stay was one of the worst we've ever spent. When we arrived we were not given the first floor that we had requested. My husband who is 80 and I who just turned 79 had to climb and haul our luggage up the stairs as there was no elevator. The halls were very dimly lit and it was hard to see where you were going - the wattage on the ceiling bulbs looked to be only 40 watts. The carpeting in the hall and on the stairs was dirty and had a smell to it. Our room was also very dimly lit with the light in the bathroom resembling that of a night light. The mattress on the bed likened to a ride on the back of a burro with no shock absorbers. Penny's diner next door that is owned by the motel has gone downhill considerably. It used to be a place we eagerly looked forward to dining at but no more. The gal who we checked into the motel at seated at the desk in Penny's was arrogant and rude - not a pleasant person greeting us at all. She tossed the keys at us on the counter and was very gruff in her conversation with us. The 50's music that provided a wonderful atmosphere at Penny's was no longer there - just silence and you could hear conversations of other diners permeating the silence. The big display case that was still at Penny's that accommodated lots of pastries and pies stood completely empty. When it used to be Oaktree Inn it was a lot nicer and more friendly. It was almost as if Wyndam didn't want to do business with the public any more - we won't book again.

ATTEMPTED TO CHECK IN PRIOR TO OUR EVENT, HOWEVER, AFTER 15-20 MINUTES, CLERK COULD NOT GET THE SYSTEM TO ACCEPT OUR RESERVATION AND THAT IT WAS PAID. OUR SECOND CHECK IN WENT WELL AS SHE HAD PAPERWORK PRINTED AND READY.

Easy access off interstate. Different check in because you check in at diner next door.
