"Showerless for full price"

We arrived around 2:30AM and had to leave early the next morning. We only got the room for a bed and a shower. When we woke up from our short nap to take a shower and hit the road again we were surprised to find the shower DIDN'T WORK! We told the front desk person but they didn't seem to care. We didn't have time to wait for maintenance or a new room. Did we receive a discount on the $105.00 room? NOPE! The diner that is affiliated with the hotel was really goo though. We would definitely eat there again.

Counsel Bluffs was all sold out of hotel rooms. Have stayed here a few times before in past, good for just passing through/overnight. Older hotel, clean except for the musky/old smell in the room.... needs updating. Now that Travelodge has taken it over, I expected more updates.

1st time ever that I was at a property that did not have an elevator. ( unless there was one on the other side of the building) & probably should of asked if they had any rooms with microwaves/refrigerators. Also going over to a Diner to rent a room was quite unique.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was not much. The towels are a bit rough. If you are needing an elevator request the first floor because they don't have an elevator.

I loved the shower had great water pressure. WiFi was not working. Nice to have restaurant next door. I would definitely stay here again. Reservations must be made ahead of time, very busy.

The woman who checked us in was not a good representative of the motel. She was short, curt and NOT friendly. Also, there was no internet during our stay. Sounded like it had been out for awhile, but once again, difficult to communication with person who checked us in, so dont really know.
