Travelodge by Wyndham Missouri Valley

This is the MOST charming and quaint places you will ever see!! Our cottage was VERY CLEAN!! Everything was ready for us when we arrived and we were able to just relax! There is a front porch with chairs for sitting in the evening, we had a small kitchenette and an extra bedroom!!! If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, clean and very reasonable place in the Pinedale area, do not hesitate to stay here!!

We stayed at the travel lodge in Missouri Valley Iowa September 4,2021. The hotel room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable! There was a very comfortable mattress on the king size bed and the bathroom was large and very clean also. You have to go across the parking lot to check in at Peggy’s diner however the food there was very good and reasonably priced. We ate there for dinner one night and breakfast again the next morning. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Missouri Valley Iowa area I would highly recommend the travel lodge. It’s very reasonably priced , and the people are very friendly!!

we have stayed at this hotel for over the last 8 years ( i have family in Iowa) we have seen it go downhill in service and quality through several owners, but this was the worst...poor room service, unprofessional check in host(looked messy and very unkempt) damp carpet, bug in the bed on our first night, no comforter, no change of sheets, had to change out room key 3 times, stayed there only because it was graduation week and every other hotel was booked. that was our last time staying there. I expected better of a wyndham....

Easy access from freeway and plenty of parking. Currently you check in at the Dinner right next to the lodge. Rooms was clean and individually wrapped toiletries. Recommend staying when in the area. Additional restaurants are close by.

Was upsetting when i tried to call you direct and make a reservation. Was told matter of factly that you dont take reservations. Fist come first serve. Wasnt told i could do it online. Had to figure that out on my own. We liked the accomidations. Only friendly staff was the cleaning lady, everyone else acted like we were bothering them. Our room/building key quit working and it took 15 mins for someone to help us. We were sorry to see how downhill the overall experience has gone.

No stairs...nothing mentioned on website regarding that...later found that complaint in a TripAdvisor feedback post. No breakfast, even a Covid Grab-n-Go, despite website stating breakfast provided. Could have at least offered a discount on breakfast at the diner next door. Only had sheets on our beds...no coverlet or blanket. I found 1 blanket on a shelf in the room, but we had 2 beds. Had to check in/out at the diner across the parking lot from the hotel which slowed down the process. Room was clean and quiet enough.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were well maintained. The service was very responsive when we needed something and we enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that stood out to us was that you checked-in/checked-out at a Diner next door. But when we called and needed something they responded faster then any other hotel we've stayed at and so that became a non-issue.

clean simple place. we found it odd but entertaining that the check in desk is in the 24 hr diner next door. Our biggest issue is that there is no elevator and we were on the second floor. One of our party was elderly and struggles with stairs so that was the hardest part. Apparently this site also caters to the railroad company so those guys are first priority on rooms.

I am so used to unpleasant stays at hotels due to loud guests and you g ones stomping up and down the hall and stairs. None of that here. It was so peaceful and quiet. I work nights so my sleep is dear to me. Slept great. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again.
