Hotel TRH Paraiso

We stayed here as a family of 3 at the end of August and I am so glad I choose to ignore some of the more recent reviews as we had a great stay. we stayed all inclusive and found the food to be a very good standard, each day had a different theme as well as the usual kids and salad sections, drinks was good and available from 10 30 until around midnight. you could get beer, wine and soft drinks at the meal times but spirits and slashes from the bars. You could also get portions of crisps and olives from the bars which I believe was available all day. check in was very quick, we was on the 2nd floor with the mountain view, the view was amazing and the room was clean and large, it was slightly dated in the main bedroom area but still nice enough. The balcony was a decent size but does only have 2 chairs when we had 3 people staying in the room. Entertainment on the evening generally started at 10pm which was quite late for us so I can't comment on this. But there was day time entertainment around the pool which was good and they tried to get as many people involved as they could. The pool was amazing, lovely and warm, a great size and there was zero rush for sunbeams in a morning, the pool opened at 10am there was never a queue it was a very relaxed atmosphere with the pool only feeling more full around 3pm in the afternoon. The pool bar only opens from 4pm until 7pm which I found very strange as I would expect this to be open from when the pool is open in peak season. There is an indoor pool this was closed and looked like it had been for some while, the jacuzzi on the pics online is also no longer there. The only downside for us was location. The closest shop is on the Main Street which is a 25 min walk along a road with limited paths, we did this once with our 6 year old daughter but not again as it wasn't safe and was far to hot. We did taxi down a couple of times we was 6 euros each way. We also took a taxi to the beach we paid about 25 euros each way again not bad but not an amount we would want to spend each day going to the beach. The hotel no longer offers any kind of shuttle service. Check out was easy and we found all staff to be helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would return despite the location if just for a relaxing week more hotel based.

For us it was convenient as we had a wedding nearby but the hotel is tired and in need of renovation.

Just returning from a 5 night relaxing break at this hotel. The pool is a fantastic feature with the water being a lovely temperature and in a natural setting. There are activities to be involved in during the day if you choose to - 4-7pm is when it gets the most liveliest. The hotel is very clean and the room was comfortable. We stayed all inclusive and definitely good value for money. If you like to dine in a quieter environment then I would advise an early sitting in the restaurant. We didn’t really venture outside of the hotel very often but there is a local beach about 1/2 an hour away (walking). If you’re looking for a chilled few days in beautiful sunshine I would most certainly recommend this hotel.

Having read previous reviews, I did not have high expectations but I found the hotel to be absolutely fine, breakfast was plentiful, the pizzas were delicious and the drinks were cheap. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and the pool area was one of the best I have been to. Staff were polite and helpful especially the young man serving in the bar area during the day. Its worth taking a trip down to the seafront at Estepona where there are many lovely restaurants to enjoy, cost us about 25 euros in a taxi that the hotel reception kindly called for us.

Lovely hotel, amazing staff, food, drink and outdoor areas are wonderful. A lot of the pictures on the reviews are very old, the hotel has had a refurb throughout so don’t be put off by the pics. Food is wonderful & there is plenty of it to choose

Udsigten fra altanen mod bjergene var fantastisk. Værelset - som resten af hotellet meget slidt. Væggene papirtynde, som at sove sammen med sine 20 bedste venner. Mangelfuld rengøring, ingen bademåtte, afskallet maling, døren til værelset har været brudt op - dette meldt i december 2016 og stadig ikke repareret, 8 år senere!! “Hot breakfast” var iskold, juicen fra koncentrat - i Spanien, appelsinernes land. Alle overflader beskidte og ikke rengjort. Mange børnefamilier og larm i den kæmpestore restaurant. Check-in var virkelig søde og rare. Dyrt i forhold til det topmoderne, superlækre hotel, vi kom fra i Sevilla.

Good property, good staff , shuttle service works very well. My room had very high windows ( not a great design ) however excellent for the price. Exactly what I needed. Breakfast where awesome. Daniela ( a hostess ) super dedicated and an awesome worker. The hotel surpassed my expectations.

Good wiew. Good service allthough the english was not the best. Resturant food expensive and 3/5 for the alternative buffé. 1/5 becuase drink not included. Room was ok, I got a glas with dried lipstick on. The shower handle was not clean at all and old. Very smal tv. Also got a room with 2 side door beetwen that could entry to the other room. Good if you have family with kids. I could her the other person breath. Pool was also ok. For a 4 star hotel was this not worth the money. Recommdation to the hotel: 1: staff with good english speaking. 2. Rooms with better shower handles. 3. Bigger TV with smart functions. 4. Better food options , ask the guests what they like over time , and go after that.
