Hotel Don Carlos

I stayed in Don Carlos during San Fermin 2006, on the good side the garden's were very nice and the room very clean and nice size. However, the service from the hotel staff was very poor, they always seemed crumpy. The food was abig let down, we were charged €24 for a bad steak with no salad or fries. On the whole I think there is better value for money out there

The rooms in this hotel are nice and clean, and the accommodation staff are friendly. The gardens are very relaxing. However the staff in the restaurant were very unfriendly and the food is overpriced A request to have a €25 steak cooked for a little longer resulted in eyes being thrown to the heavens and plates pulled out of our hands. Very disappointing service that spoilt our stay. A reasonable hotel if you don't plan to eat there but I would look elsewhere considering the prices charged.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days in April this year. The hotel is not in Pamplona but about 4 miles from the city center with convenient public transportation- taxis-buses, and quite close to the airport. The hotel is surrounded by very nice gardens and the staff and the owners, a family, are always around to help you, especially Antxón, the eldest son. There is, also, a very nice restaurant where you can enjoy really nice meals. I felt that they really wanted me to enjoy my stay.
