The Glendower Hotel

We booked a variety of rooms and the larger room with a double and 2 single beds was spacious and clean.

The woman at the front desk was very abrupt when i tried to explain i had pre-paid before arriving and she said i had not paid. When i shown her my booking and the paid she then checked the system and didn't apologise. 2 of the bathrooms we booked had black stains down the middle and when asked if they could be cleaned we were told they couldn't do anything as they need changing.

A good choice of breakfast and dinner. Great shower with plenty of hot water comgortabke mattresses but the bedding was too heavy for summer and the central heating was on constantly. Way too hot to sleep well. Carpets in corridors were grubby and in need of refurbishing. One of the single rooms I paid for was cramped with no light and an exceedingly small bathroom. Glad I wasn’t overweight!! Staff were great though. Friendly and helpful.

Great location ideal for town and beach. Breakfast and evening meals very good. Clean and tidy rooms.

Rooms at back of house, circulation area carpets in need of replacing.

Lovely dog friendly hotel. Beautiful rooms and comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with a sausage for our doggy. Very friendly staff.
