Sandstone Point Hotel

I loved the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The futon and king bed was really comfy and seamed very spacious, the fireplace is a nice warm added touch.. For the price it's a great deal the best in town by far...

The space was clean and comfortable.

The view was not what I expected from the pictures but it was better then no view of the ocean.

The location was good convenient to the beach. The kitchen, microwave, fridge, oven and stove were good. Having a key code to get into the hotel was very helpful. Parking was easy and close to our rooms.

I reserved a place for 6 people and was expecting to have 6 beds. There was one set of bunk beds and one full size bed. The couch was uncomfortable and had a bar under the cushions making it uncomfortable and not conducive to sleep. There weren't enough beds for our party and two of our family had to double up in a twin sized bed. I sent a text to the link explaining the problem and no one responded. We had to tough it out for 3 nights. There was a hall light outside of our hotel that was on constantly shining right into the bedroom. Even with the blinds closed, it shone on us all night. There was a lot of noise from the neighbor's dog barking and children crying in the quiet hours. No one slept well the 3 nights we were there. It really disappointed the whole family.

There was no breakfast, location was good as far as walking to the beach.

It wasn’t clean, the bowls were dirty, I couldn’t sleep, the mattresses were stained, the walls were dirty, I asked for extra towels and they said they couldn’t supply them. The couches were stained and I wasn’t even sure if the sheets were washed.

Very dirty. Floors and baseboards were so gross. Even the table lamp was covered in dust. The walls were dirty. It needs to be vacuumed and mopped and some new paint. Shampoo and soap in shower were empty. I was told housekeeping would drop some off in the morning when I asked for some, but they never did, and we were there 3 nights. The beds made so much noise when you moved on it. It sounded like it was gonna fall apart. People above us stomping around. If I had a child or pet with me, I wouldn't let them on the floor.

We booked a room on booking.com at 10:20PM for a room. We went to the office and it was closed. I message them through booking.com and was told that they were only open until 4:00PM. We were giving a number to call on booking.com and no one would answer!!! Scam scam scam! $$ down the toilet. Had to go to another place.
