"I was attending a wedding near by so it was a pleasant surprise to find this gorgeous traditional hotel."

Stunning gardens. Comfortable room and lovely breakfast. Jasmine on reception was super helpful booking cabs for me and sourcing a 2nd fan and a robe for my room.

Great location for Beamish Museum. Wonderful old building. Comfy and quiet.

Hard to get cold water out of the tap or shower but we were in the middle of a heatwave.
