When we had no hot water for the second day, and the bathroom smelled so strongly of sewage that we were gagging, we decided to leave and forfeit two nights of payment to get out of there… The room was quite basic, and had some funky smells and dirty edges, burn marks and stains on linens, no soap, no breakfast, no wi-fi, lots of bugs, both dead and alive, and very questionable wiring. When we had no hot water, we talked to the manager who said he’d look into it. The thin, scratchy towels didn’t help much after cold showers. When we went back the second day with the same issue, he became rude and defensive, saying he had fixed it and it was fine. When we raised concerns about the sewage smell, he claimed that his workers were just in there and hadn’t noticed anything. He refused to refund us for the 2 nights that we didn’t stay for, and refused to acknowledge any of the problems. Never, ever stay here!

The price was great, proximity to Hillsdale was perfect. I did notice the bathroom door is too tight to close, and there was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. But linens were clean, the TV worked well, bed was comfortable, and the furnishings were nice.

The location was perfect. There were new trees planted near the property driveway. There was good outside property lighting.

The property is ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! We should have left when we first saw the outside door of our room, but our charge card had already been processed. The outside door had been poorly repaired and painted with a non-matching paint. Inside I used almost an entire container of 35 Clorox disinfectant wipes to wipe down everything that we needed to touch, including door nobs, bathroom door frame, light switches, the entire shower walls & shower floor, TV remote, table tops, etc. It looked like there was fecal matter and/or urine dried on the bathroom walls. The shower curtain had dirty hand prints on it & should have been replaced. The shower floor drain didn't fit properly. All 3 pillows were flat and looked like they never had been replaced in decades (at least they had pillow cases). We were afraid to use the blanket and bedspread because of the condition of the rest of the room. There was literally dust on the coffee maker. My husband dripped some water on the floor and used a towel to wiped up the water. That towel turned black from the dirty floor, which obviously has not been scrubbed in a very long time. Floor tiles were not glued properly and were coming up. A bedside light fixture was missing a light bulb. The caulking craftsman by the sink and air conditioner unit look like it was done by a child. There were exposed wires hanging everywhere. Do you really want me to go on? If there had been another vacancy in Jonesville or Hillsdale, we would have stayed there NOT here.

The room was clean. The internet really sucked. It would be there with one line. Then it would totally disappear. To have no internet. The router was right outside the door. I said something and the mamager got upset because I was complaining. There is no breakfast or coffee. They give you a bag with stuff in it for you to tske back yo your room.

Was close to everything I needed. The 1 office lady and the lady that did house keeping were very polite.

They put me in a room between 2 families that live there. I couldn't park in front of my room because the people that lived there would put a road cone in the parking spot when they left. The one morning I was actually able to park in my spot, the husband started swearing at his wife, telling me to move my f#%king vehicle. They also charged my credit card after I called and confirmed with them I would be paying cash.

Outdated for the price

We found the bed to be comfortable in the facility well maintained. However, it is older and it was unfortunate however that we had cold showers in the morning because there was no hot water. Also, there was no shampoo in the dispenser that was located in the shower.

This place could be redeemed by a thorough clean and polite staff. It was far too expensive for the filthy state, sporadic wifi connection, broken windows, broken iron board and no breakfast as advertised. I asked for an alternative room due to smell of smoke but was refused because apparently smoking in hotel rooms is illegal in Michigan, while I counted at least 6 cigarette burns on my bedding. The receptionist offered to change the bedding instead of the room. He also refused cancellation for the third night’s stay requested well in advance. This could have been a fine stay, but I was unfortunately left cold by the treatment I received.
