My husband and I decided on a short holiday to relax and enjoy the tropics. Whilst we knew from the website pics that it would be luxurious accommodation and surroundings, we didn’t anticipate the exceptional quality of the food and overall dining experience. Hats off to the chef and all the staff at Silky Oaks. We will return for sure.
Amazing accommodation in an an amazing place
Incredible Lodge. We loved it. We stayed in the River Treehouse and it was great. The river was low b/c it hasn’t rain much. The service was outstanding. We stayed 4 nights and ate in the hotel everyday for breakfast and every evening for dinner. The food was very good. We went on a hike on the property and it was well worth it. We walked down to the river and waded in. We were extremely happy with staying in the Rainforest as opposed to Port Douglas and were glad we chose Silky Oaks. It exceeded our expectations.

Probably the best hotel/lodge I have been to. Can not say enough about the service oriented mindset the workers have. They want to help you any way they can. The setting is just outstanding being in the rainforest. The food was fantastic. We had dinner and breakfast ( breakfast was complimentary). Loved every minute there. Would highly recommend.
Great location by the river. It really makes the most of such an idyllic location. Easy drive into Port Douglas. The staff were really welcoming.
We stayed in a beautiful en very comfortabele tree house. Everything was taken care of. Yoga classes, guided tour in amazing Rainforest. Very good service en delicious breakfast.
Beautiful and modern accommodation, with fantastic onsite amenities. Private hiking trail and watering hole available for hotel guests. We had a lovely stay at the silky oaks lodge.
The staff, the facilities, the setting of the property- WOW! WOW! WOW! We wish we could have stayed longer!
