Beautiful property. Service from all staff was excellent. However, I felt the location was a bit remote, far from cafes etc
Amazing rainforest setting with its own stunning swimming hole. The rooms are very relaxing , breakfast and dinner delicious. There are some nice touches such as free cookies in the room, free suncreen and insect repellent. Red wine in restaurant is very expensive (nothing under $100) so would suggest one or two bottles that are a bit more affordable would be great. And perhaps a 2 course dinner special to encourage people to eat at the restaurant more than once. We would have loved happy hour drinks at the bar and some canapes to create a bit morw atmosphere. But if you are looking to completely get away from it this place it it!
Loved how nice and professional everyone was, they continually give you waters, they know all of the parts of the property and are extremely helpful. We went during their coldest days and still found the hikes extremely enjoyable (moderate difficulty) and enjoyed taking a dip in the watering holes (chilly but VERY refreshing--highly recommend). My wife loved yoga in the morning over the river, great breakfast spread. The rooms were wonderful as well with nice balconies to just relax.

Silky Oaks Lodge was spectacular. The location on the Mossman River was amazing and the walks through the rainforest incredible. The Lodge is a fabulous place for a relaxing and special holiday.
