"Generally good but not excellent. Hotel needs renovation"

7.0

Staff were excellent, respectful and clean. Every time I needed any help, they would support me. The food is good, but breakfast for me was not top for the hotel's calibre; it would be excellent somewhere else.

You need to do better renovations on the rooms. I had to be moved to a level 1 room because the ceiling of the room on the ground floor got so wet that you could see droplets all over it. I had the experience of the bedding feeling damp and cold. My colleague joined me at the hotel, and he had the same experience. Despite Dar es Salaam being hot, you would get into the room in the evening, and it would be cold, especially under your feet, maybe because I am tropical. Maybe the hotel need to learn the best AC temp set to maintain a normal room temp. Every evening I'd have to come in the room, turn the AC to 30 degrees, get out and let it warm the room; I'd then run it at 26 degrees at night or turn it off.

"Worth the stay!"

9.0

Breakfast was varied, tasty, and staff very welcoming and helpful in getting what you needed, rooms were clean, well looked after, staff at reception very friendly. Askari at the gate also very helpful. Good location, easy access.

I cannot really say something I didn't like - it was a great stay, and nothing bothered me.

Lovely hotel with classic Tanzanian charm and warm hospitality. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Best of all are the staff and food! Staff are flawless, courteous and kind - truly excellent service. The food is also exceptionally good, with a great breakfast spread included and delicious Swahili style dinners available. There are also some international dining options on the menu, but the Swahili food here is so good that we never tried them.

The beds were a little hard for my taste, but I tend to like softer beds.

i enjoyed the breakfast. Such a variety and plentiful. To be greeted by Mr. Peter every morning was such a blessing. He was one of the staff member in the breakfast area. So kind, respectful and eager to help. In general, the staff at this hotel are professional. Many thanks to Ms. Grace at the front desk. Always smiling and kind and helpful. Thanks so much for your help with my outfit incident. And much thanks to the Manager Mr. Sami. God bless you all.
