Hotel Areca

The service was excellent. We had reservations for 4 rooms and we arrived 4 hours before check-in started, but we were still able to get an early check-in. I have stayed here many times before and I highly recommend it for a short stay as it is very close to the airport.They reserved taxis for us in advance as our flight was in the middle of the night and everything went smoothly. Easy online check- in as well.10+ for service. Rooms were clean and comfortable even though there were quite a few ants on the floor.

The only thing was the ants on the floor in our room.

Location to Airport was ideal

Falsely advertised of having air conditioning but there was zero air conditioning in the room, which proved to be especially difficult for my travel partner with asthma. We needed to have the window open in order to breath and were up and down throughout the night due to discomfort. Asked if they could provide a fan and were coldly rejected by an arrogant member of reception staff who appeared to favour the Spanish clientele.
