Fantastic hotel. They even upgraded our room for free. The breakfast was great, it had so much food and lots of sweet options. It was perfect to have a late checkout and the gifts when we left were a lovely touch. Position is amazing as well. Will definitely come back if I'm in Nanjing again.

Been here just one night so didn't explore it much, but everything looked amazing so I can't find one single negative aspect.

The breakfasts were really good with a blend of Chinese and Western styles. There was also plenty of fruit to take away for a snack later. The speciality Nanjing Duck (cold) was available every morning of our stay. The executive room on the top floor was quite spacious, mirrors on the walls and ceiling made the room look bigger. We had a hot tub and a separate shower in our room which was especially welcome after walking all day. Bottles of water and towels were replenished every day.

The lighting system in the executive room was a bit tiresome. for example if you got up in the middle of the night to pee, switching on the bathroom light switched on the Master light and illuminated the bedroom thus making your partner grumpy for the rest of the day - The solution is to switch on the bathroom light only, switch off the Master control switch. Switch on the bathroom light only, close the door but leave that light on all night. Believe me it took a few goes to get that set up working. The swimming pool in the basement was closed for the duration of the stay. For a 5 star hotel, it was a little light on facilities in November. If the pool is going to be closed over the winter months then say so in your advertising brochures. No Spa or massage facilities on site but plenty near by.

The friendly staff and the flexibility of hotel policy which allowed us to check in early and check out late due to the flight schedules, not to mention the free upgrade... twice...to better and bigger rooms. Thanks! Central Hotel Nanjing.
