Habita, Mexico City, a Member of Design Hotels

Habita is a fabulous botique hotel in Mexico City. Staff were professional, courteous, and customer-oriented. We were greeted with a complimentary mexcal/tequilla drink at the reception when we checked in, which was a wonderful and much appreciated surprise. The air conditioning was very strong in the room (it gets cold fast) and couldn't really be turned down. The bed ("queen"-size) for the room was pretty comfortable but a bit small (smaller than the typical Canadian "queen"-size). The duvet was equally smaller than expected for two adults. Having said that, the room service and cleaning was miraculous. Bathroom and the room were kept spotless. You can tell they use pretty good materials for the bathroom compared to most other hotel rooms which adds to the decor and chic atmosphere of the place. Great service on the rooftop pool as well. Delicious complimentary breakfast buffet though they were a bit slow to replace items that ran out.

I had an excellent service and experience. Food and drinks were great and affordable.

The staff are super relaxed/friendly. The environment makes you feel at home. The hotel is small/boutique, very comfy in that it doesn't have the factory feel the established hotel chains have. Sleeping is tough for anyone who is noise sensitive, and hotel owners should consider seriously investing in double paned windows.

Good experience overall. Location is great and staff very helpful. It can get a bit loud due to proximity to restaurants and bars.

The bathroom smell was unberrabel and the noise was absolutely loud Never come back again...

Excellent design by Enrique Norten, with an impressively courteous team of staff. I had miscalculated and arrived in Mexico City by red-eye, and the front desk made me a complimentary espresso as I waited at 4am for the cleaners to refresh the room, and let me in for a morning check-in. Room is beautiful and serene after busy days and nights of meetings, and there is surround sound lounge music preset for the main room and bathroom that can be adjusted. Love the Malin+Goetz products!

The room is modern, neat with nice amenities. The service was always polite and ready to please. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

The hotel is nicely located but has aged. It has lost its soul a bit. Rooms are bare. After spending a few days in other properties of the same hotel Group it was a bit of a let down. Rooms are comfortable a bit small. Breakfast buffet is nicely done and staff is friendly

Mexico City and Habit are both wonderful. The lobby was small and lovely to sit and have a drink or a cup of coffee. There is a little barber shop, tucked away in the back of the lobby that was very busy and did a great business so must have been good. The pool area is very small with a bar, again very personal. In addition to loving our hotel, I must point out that an Expedia Concierge rep contacted me and made some travel reservations for me, and would have done much more if needed. That was a very nice thing, not a lot of English speaking.
