New Orleans Guest House

Teisha was very hospitable and accommodating. Not to mention a breath of fresh air after a long drive. What a character that one! We were extremely welcomed. My only grievance was the bed. I hardly slept because the mattress was so old. However, the room was quaint, quiet and nice and cold.

The guesthouse staff was the absolute BEST service I have ever recieved. They were friendly and helpful and very accomadating. Teisha, the General Manager was by far the sweetest, nicest and most helpful. We really felt at home. The building is old and has a wonderful sense of history, that being said, it needs a bit of updating. Bathroom was run down, toilet was coming away from the wall. Day one very limited hot water, but each day after it was good. Third lock on door to room was broken. The room seemed musty but the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated. Towels were old and should be replaced. Again, your staff was EXTRAORDINARULY WONDERFUL and helpful in every way.

Photos do not match what the property looks like. Room was very old and unclean. Bed had cigarette burns on the covers, stained sheets. The door shows light through the cracks and the lock would barely close! The room was soooo small!!! Nothing like what was presented on Expedia! Sketchy neighborhood. We left immediately! The ONLY positive about the place is the front desk lady! She is a gem! Definitely needs to be recognized for her amazing customer service! She needs to open her own business and be a tour guide to New Orleans! She knows all the spots!

Right in the French Quarter, walking distance to all the fun... well you can stumble. The place has great character and the staff was nice. It's a room, and was clean. Not fancy by any means, but worked great for my needs.

Without going into any details that might prevent my comments from being posted, suffice it to say that i will never again use Expedia or stay at this hotel.
