New Orleans Guest House

A great 2 night stay, the bed was super comfy and the room large. This place has charm and character that I loved. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at New Orleans Guest House. It truly felt like we were at home. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the lovely Teisha! You could feel the joy exuding from her which made the experience amazing from the start. We were introduced to the staff and told about the surrounding area. I loved the rustic charm. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will definitely be staying here every time I return! Thank you for such a great time in the big easy!

The staff was excellent. Very friendly.

Front desk attendants were overly friendly and offerred to "get stuff" for me. 😉 When I questioned the increase for the second night, the female desk attendant became beligerant. I tried to diffuse the situation and laugh it off, but was summarily told to leave the hotel. As her screaming brought other staff to the courtyard, was rushed out a side gate, leaving prescription medication, toiletries, and a pair of shoes. I later found out it is somewhat a "residential" establishment. Definitely not for the kiddies!

I love this place. Teisha and Yari ( i know im spelling this all wrong) were THE BEST!!! Everyone was so helpful. This place it the cutest!!!! We had a tiny mishap and Tiesha gave us her personal number to make sure it was taken care of when we got home. They took even made us a list of the best restaurants in New Orleans. We will be back for Mardi Gras...we want our same room lol. Thank you all for making my sister's birthday weekend THE BEST!!!

I was bitten by ticks at this hotel. They need to deep clean the whole interior. It felt pretty gross.

Our time here was nothing short of a dream. The warmth of the staff—especially the luminous Miss Teisha—was a gift, guiding us to the soul of this city with care and charm. The rooms whispered stories of enchantment, and the courtyard felt like stepping into another realm. The location? Perfection itself. Just a breath away from Louis Armstrong Park, where we had the serendipitous fortune to arrive during the vibrant pulse of the Jamaican Festival. It was so close to the incredible Tremé festival thay we nearly wandered into its rhythm by accident. This place resides at the very heart of New Orleans—where art dances in the streets, music breathes through the air, and the food, oh, the food! Each bite was a verse, rich and poetic (thank you, Teisha, for your divine recommendations). We are already counting the days until we return to this magical sanctuary.
