The room is spacious & clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

A surprise that a 4 star hotel does not have a hair dryer whereas most of the hotels have. The breakfast is so limited options.

I frequent to Batam for work and leisure purpose. First time trying this hotel and it’s a big disappointment. This will be first and the last time staying in this hotel. As per my privilege booking package, its clearly stated in the booking document that we are allowed for late check out but during checking in, the reception denied our late check out privilege even when we showed them the booking document mentioning a late check out is included. As we booked a non-smoking floor, the moment the lift door opened at our level, the whole floor was so full of strong cigarette smell all the way to the room! The room interior was very old and run down and there were a lot of stains marks all over the room and toilet. The most ridiculous part is when we requested for additional blanket and It cost 100,000 rupiah!! If you request for pillow, it will cost you 50,000 rupiah per piece!! I have been staying at more than 15 different hotels in Batam and this is my first ever experience of this items being chargeable. The hotel lift is the worst, when the lift reached your level, it will always be full of people especially during morning breakfast, I can only board the lift on my 6th attempt. During checking out, I can only board the lift on my 5th attempt. Imagine the wait and time wasted just to board the lift. Breakfast was horrible, the area is too small to accommodate hotel guest. A lot of guest has to wait for seats and no staff was available to clear the tables. There were not much variety of food, only basics and food was scarce. Food top up was tremendously slow. I can see a lot of frustrations from the other guest. My kids were devasted when the swimming pool were under renovation during our stay. This was not highlighted in the hotel booking system. I thought we were just unlucky that we came during the renovation period. To my surprise, looking at previous guest review, the swimming pool was already under renovation for more than 2 years and nothing changed.

Room is spacious and location quite near to city centre and there are some food place nearby like local noodle, Pizza hut, others. Hotel staff is polite and helpful. Since I booked the hotel without any cc confirmation, they called fo confirmation on the day before I arrived.

Room phone is not working, so I could not call reception or other service from the bedroom. Room lighting switch is not convenience. All the switch is only at the bed side table, so all the lighting need to switch off and on from the bed. Sometime needs to switch on the light at bathroom or light at the entrance door we need to go to the bed For hotel food, the fried rice I ordered for dinner the rice is to wet.

Location and very co-operative staff make this hotel value for money
