Cabinas La Catarata

Samo miejsce jest idealne. Olbrzymi ogród z dostępem do rzeki i fragmentu lasu deszczowego. Domek z tarasem prosto z widokiem na góry i las z tyłu. Można zaliczyć fajny spacer i kąpiel w kaskadach, o ile nie boisz się kąpać w takim miejscu. Pełno zwierząt, możliwość nocnych spacerów na własną rękę. Domki mają parkingi, droga dojazdowa ok. Śniadanie też w porządku - co prawda nie dla każdego, bo była tam kiełbasa.

We loved our stay at Cabinas La Catarata. The cabin is very nice, spacious with some kitchen facilities, the beds are good and comfortable, there is an airconditioning that works fine. The balcony is awesome, with a hammock to look at the birds and at night the fireflies. In their beautiful garden we saw hummingbirds, toucans and other colorful birds. The breakfast is served early and is good and enough to get you started for a long day of activities. Location is great, close to downtown, enough activities and restaurants nearby. And a view on the volcano. And the pool is lovely, even if the water is not crystal clear it is clean and very nice for an occasional swim. The garden is large, it is a nice hike to the waterfall inside the property where you can even bathe in the creek.

The hot shower is scary. There is no hot water in itself so the showerhead is an electrical heater, with electric wires on the outside. I don’t like bathrooms and electricity a lot, so just took cold showers. There is little water pressure. Would this prevent me from staying here? Definitively not. We stayed here three nights, showered every day and it was fine. But if you count on long warm showers, look elsewhere.

Wir hatten eine der beiden Cabinas auf der anderen Straßenseite. Das Haus war geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet, Super Zimmer-Service, sehr gutes W-LAN. Schöner Garten mit vielen Vögeln.

Metalldach: Wenn etwas aus den Bäumen runter auf das Dach gefallen ist, hat es extrem laut geknallt, auch nachts. Haken im Bad wären wünschenswert.

We stayed for 4 nights and the first night we were placed in a worse room than what we paid for. After asking the staff, they confirmed it and promised to move us to the appropriate room the next day, providing a small refund. The 2nd room was amazing, spacious, bright, big balcony with an amazing view to the jungle. Very quiet, mostly just jungle sounds, and soo many birds around! Great location, but probably needs a car for easier commuting to the city and tourist attractions.

As mentioned, the first night we stayed in the simplest of their cabins - do not recommend. It was small, dark and had a leaking sink. The breakfast choice is limited - mostly just typical breakfast, unless you stay multiple nights, then could also order pancakes.

A cabana é perfeita para descansar, ouvindo o som da correnteza e na varanda é possível ver o rio que passa atrás da propriedade. É uma imersão na natureza, queria ter tido mais tempo para ficar lá relaxando na varanda ouvindo o som das águas do rio, dos pássaros e demais animais. Vale mais a pena do que ficar em um hotel moderno, pois lá vc tem ar condicionado, mas ao mesmo tempo está realmente em contato com a natureza. O café da manhã também nos surpreendeu, estava ótimo! Era simples, mas perfeito.

Só senti falta de shampoo.
