No closet No shelf save in bathroom Poorly maintained exterior

The first time we stayed at this location was such a pleasurable experience that when we were planning our trip back to The Berkshires there was no question of where we wanted to stay. We even put in a request for a late check out which I received an email saying the request was approved. Our second experience was vastly different than the first. Check in was very accommodating but that’s where it ended. The first day we were woken up by banging on the door at not even 8 a.m. on the day we are leaving there was again banging on the door this time yelling it’s time to check out. Totally confused I looked at the time and it was 11:28 AM. I yelled back that we paid for late check out and we didn’t have to leave until 1 o’clock. The person on the other side of the door became nasty and started yelling. there was no late check out and, we had until 12 o’clock to check out. Two people hastily showered and packed three days worth of belongings to check out in 32 minutes. After the car was packed, I went to the office to return the key. I asked to speak to the manager, I wanted to get the money that was charged for the late check out refunded. I was informed there was no manager on duty. Needless to say, the whole experience left a very sour taste and we will not be returning.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

Overall we had a decent stay but hit a few snags. The owners are very nice but we reserved two nights with two queen beds so we could stay and be comfortable once settled in. Upon arrival they said they only had one king bed for the first night available, which was awful. We then had to move rooms in the

The staff are all very nice & the rooms are always clean. The hotel is conveniently located & easy to find. This is our second stay here.

Frig died during the night and defrosted and got our nexts days lunch soggy

Convenient. Wouldn’t work for me at other visits as I have had to check in late at night and the desk is only staffed certain hours but was perfect for this trip.

Older property, but very clean and updated. Restaurants near by.
