Absolutely beautiful hotel, great location and wonderful staff. Wow-what a place! Positano is an absolutely wonderful place to visit and the Palazzo Murat enhances the experience in every way. The hotel and grounds are fantastic. Beautiful room as well. It's easy to feel as if you are in paradise while there. The location is really good in that while you are up from the sea, as the whole area is, you are still on the lower side and relatively close to the sea. You are still walking the steps from the sea upwards, but the hotel itself is not that far ahead, after going up the same steps that, basically, all visitors will navigate, (unless they are staying at or very near to the bottom, at sea level). The views from the hotel grounds are breathtaking. The grounds themselves are very beautiful, the trees, vines, shrubs, etc., etc., and immaculately groomed. And the hotel itslef is kept in immaculate condition. It has a lovely outdoor pool, of a medium size, also with a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding hilltops and breathtaking Positano. Lovely outdoor areas to eat or drink. The daily breakfast was excellent. We had dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant and it was quite good. All of the staff, from the concierges to the wait staff, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Woonderful experience in every way.

They had a huge wedding that closed off the pool which was the only reason I booked the hotel…it was supposed to be the hippest place…they tried to make up for the wedding by upgrading my room, but the whole vibe was off without the pool…they should have mentioned this. Also, for a hotel of supposedly superior quality, the directions and help with finding the hotel by car were abysmal…I lost at least an hour trying to find it…for a high standard hotel you would think that they would forward you driving instructions…really shit service here for a five star hotel

Un accueil aux petits soins, une chambre très calme,bien décorée avec un balcon donnant sur un jardin très fleuri et une belle vue sur Positano. Un personnel exceptionnel de gentillesse et de bienveillance, un cadre paradisiaque, parfaitement situé tout près de la plage et de l'église, un jardin magnifique et poétique, piscine sympa. Le top pour les amoureux.

We stayed at Palazzo Murat and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautifully renovated - elegant, full of charm, and perfectly maintained. The atmosphere feels authentic yet luxurious. The staff are kind and attentive, but the concierge team is truly world-class - exceptionally helpful, professional and genuinely caring. They made every arrangement for us flawlessly, from private drivers to restaurant reservations. Yes, it’s not cheap - but it’s absolutely worth the price. One of the most beautiful and memorable hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you all very much!
