Not reliable and completely unccoperative team of Events-F&B led by Giuseppe. It's not at all the ideal place for someone to organize a successful event!

The standard double room was terrible. It was located next to the cleaning services Unfortunately, the room was far below our expectations. There was a persistent and unpleasant sewage smell throughout our stay, which made the room extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the room was located next to a utility/service area, and we were disturbed by loud noise from early morning until very late at night. We could not rest properly, and the overall cleanliness and hygiene were not up to the standard of a hotel in this category. We reported the issue to management, but no suitable solution was offered. This experience significantly affected the quality of our trip.

Everything was perfect

The property more than met our expectations. It was just beautiful. From the garden, pool and Positano views.

From the moment we arrived at Palazzo Murat, we knew we found “our place” in Positano. Stepping off of the crowded street, the noise fell away. Quietly elegant but welcoming, with beautiful landscaping (one pillar is carved out to accommodate a trunk of bougainvillea), we all felt the stress of travel fall away. Check-in was a breeze, allowing us to quickly enter our stunning family suite. Tall painted doors and high ceilings gave an authentic “palazzo” feel, mixed with well-chosen modern accents. The spacious suite accommodated our family of four (two teens). The property flows well, from large dining terrace to intimate covered outdoor restaurant to pool overlooking enchanting local church and the stunning Tyrrhenian Sea. New gym offers modern machines with a view that cannot be imagined. The staff are knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind, adding extra touches where they could to make our stay that much more special. We will be back!

Very friendly staff, great views, amazing location, offer vallet parking

This is a world-class hotel. We stay in many top hotels, and this has all the elements we love. It's a beautiful hide-away, set in a garden filled with lemons, ferns and bougainvillea. It's also where they grow the vegetables for the kitchen. It's a respite from the noise of the tourist area just outside the walls. The hotel building is entrancing, with flower-covered balconies looking down on the garde; and the interior is designed beautifully with tiles and glass. The staff deserve a special mention - everyone we met was natural, attentive, funny and prompt. This was top-rate. Breakfast in the garden is serene. That location turns into a piano bar later in the day. The breakfast is a buffet, but very good. The fresh mozzarella in particular was superb. Our meal in the garden restaurant was very romantic. I highly recommend that you eat here. Room 24 was comfortable, with good aircon, a large balcony and a view over the gardens, church and sea (to some extent). We particularly enjoyed the complementary sunset boat tour, which showed us the best view of the Amalfi coast, together with a glass or two.

Our shower was a bit feeble. The pool is functional, but not large. You have to pay extra at breakfast for things like omelettes. You cannot drive to the hotel - but you can leave your bags on the edge of town and the porters will handle them for you. Sometimes the music in the garden is a bit loud for us, but that seems to be an Italian thing.

What an amazing and beautiful property right in the heart of (positano). The service was impeccable, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to go back.

Hotel Palazzo Murat was an excellent choice for our stay in Positano. The service was amazing. They have a delicious breakfast served every morning. The rooms were always kept and cleaned thoroughly. They helped us in arranging transportation from Napoli airport and also in making reservations with nearby restaurants.
